Why staying cool can help

Injectables create tiny punctures in the skin and can cause mild tissue irritation. Heat from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, vigorous exercise, or prolonged sun exposure can dilate blood vessels and potentially increase swelling.

2. Minimises bruising
Increased circulation shortly after treatment may make bruising more noticeable or prolonged. Keeping cool can help limit this effect, especially during the first 24–48 hours.

3. Improves comfort
