Off to a couple of gigs this week… and slightly concerned for our toes 👀👣

Gemma and Laura are heading to see Rumours of Fleetwood Mac and Cooper Alan—so we’re expecting great music, good vibes… and at least one moment where someone nearly stands on our feet 😅

We’ve been shocking a lot of people this week…

By simply measuring their feet properly 👣

Most of the people we’ve checked have been wearing the wrong shoe size — some by a full size or more.

Too short.
Too narrow.
Not deep enough.
Completely wrong for their foot condition.

Feet change over time, but many people are still buying the same size they wore 10 years ago.

January can feel a bit long and gloomy… so here’s something to make you smile 😄

I came across a foot challenge the other day called “How smart is your right foot?” and thought, that’s ridiculous.

Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.

Sit down, lift your right foot, make clockwise circles… then draw the number 6 in the air with your right hand.
Your foot will change direction — and there’s nothing you can do about it!

That one silly challenge made me laugh, so I went hunting for more and popped them all into a blog. They’re easy, harmless, and surprisingly tricky — perfect for a quick January pick-me-up.

“My nails haven’t grown much this time…”

If we had a pound for every time we hear this in winter, we’d be very busy indeed 😉

Slower nail growth during the colder months is completely normal. Reduced circulation, heavier footwear and lower activity levels all play a part.

However, winter is actually when routine foot care becomes even more important. Nails can still thicken, hard skin can build up, and problems often start quietly when feet are tucked away in socks and boots.
