🐬 What a lovely day we had with the Friends of Dolphin

Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying a wonderful boat ride to Wareham, with a delicious treat of fish and chips along the way! 🍟🐟

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and lovely memories made throughout the day. ❤️

A huge thank you to all the wonderful volunteers at Friends of Dolphin for helping to make the day so special and enjoyable for our residents. Your time, kindness and company are truly appreciated. 🥰

We’re already looking forward to our next adventure! 🚤💙

HELP US REACH £1,000 or more!

We have a very exciting challenge happening at Ferndown Manor!

Our Maintenance Manager Joao has bravely agreed that if we reach our £1,000 fundraising target, our residents get to shave his head for Children with Cancer UK

The big head shave will take place as part of our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 25th September only if we’re able to reach our target!

We’re raising money through this fundraiser for Children with Cancer UK, helping support children and young people battling cancer and their families, as well as funding vital research into childhood cancer.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us get closer to our £1,000 target and closer to seeing our Maintenance Manager shave all of his hair off!

£1,000 = the clippers come out!

This afternoon we enjoyed a lovely trip to The Horns Inn for a drink and some snacks☕️

Our lovely residents had a game of noughts and crosses for a bit of fun and enjoyed spending the afternoon out together😊

Our Very Own Notting Hill Carnival!🎶🌈

Today we brought our own little taste of Notting Hill Carnival to Ferndown Manor decorating the coffee shop with bright colours and flags.

A big thank you to our amazing Chef Endri for preparing some delicious Caribbean food for everyone to enjoy, whilst listening to reggae music🍛

The afternoon was filled with dancing, laughter and lots of enjoyment and finishing off with a big conga! 💃🏼

Today, our staff and residents got to join Anne for story time, all about a very funny donkey!🫏

It was a big laugh for everyone, and Anne was an absolute natural! We loved seeing everyone getting involved and enjoying the story together❤️
