Day trip to Portsmouth to the arches unfortunately didn’t get to see studio in Charlotte street as no longer there but still walked Charlotte street so as close as I could get was hoping for little bit of ink in studio on my trip but were quite busy but going bk to the arches before Portsmouth tattoo fest for little bit of ink 😊

A tad excited heading to Portsmouth for bit of grandad Raye Collinson tattoo history to one of his earlier studios the arches tattoo studio and to Charlotte street where he worked with Jessie knight in his early days of his career 😊

Thank you all for your lovely messages and condolences.
They are all very special
A funeral date for grandad Raye Collinson is in place of Thursday 17th of June @ 2 o’clock at Poole crematorium.
Unfortunately due to covid we are limited to inside crematorium so we have kept this to family however if anyone would still like to attend outside you are welcome

It saddens us to add to our last post that grandad Raye Collinson past away yesterday morning at home with family we would like to thank everyone of you who added pics and comments that he could see or we read out to him and reached an amazing 17k in a few days really made his last few days special thank you for making that happen ❤️

A true legend to many,
Unfortunately I’m putting up this post due to grandad Raye Collinson being unwell
I would like to make the next few days special
And light up Facebook with everyone’s help of his art work over the years with close memories and comments he can see and read or we can read to him.
A talent of over 60 years
I’ll start by putting up a gents tattoo which is 50 years old and still holding and grandads last piece which is not finished due to grandads health but will be left that way and worn with pride Charlie xx

Many of you may of seen status’s about grandad retiring he has made the decision after many years of tattooing to call it a day I am so very proud to have worked along side him and enjoyed every second of it lucky for me I got the chance to work along side the best ,taught by the best not only the tattooing legend but my grandad thank you for all u have taught me and done for me love u Raye Collinson
