Land chat...

I have had a fair few folk ask me recently how the land project is coming along so I thought I would do a wee update.

Me and the piggies have been working hard! The pics are the evolution of plot1 from Feb 2025 - today!

Plot1 was always intended to be the main veg patch and this year I am growing in it for the first time. Very exciting! A polytunnel will be put up at some stage but for now I am just chuffed to have veggies in the garden.

One slow step at a time!

Lordy there is a lot to keep up with as a small business owner.

What a dreamy wee world it would be to get to just be in the brewery all the time and not have to think about any of the other - gazillion - other parts to running a business.

I am absolutely chuffed that our sales have picked up and the fermented veg offerings seem to be going down a treat but holy moly does it make it harder to keep up with; posting on social media, replying to emails, keeping on top of accounts etc etc.

It is lots & lots for one mind to do. Looks like a busy wee year ahead so I do apologise in advance for how slow I am at getting back to messages and emails. And if our social media goes quiet, it's simply cause headspace does not exist to be posting stuff and things.

But THANK YOU for drinking and eating our products and for keeping me busy!

Please rinse your bottles!

As much as I want to shout my thanks to you all for returning your bottles, I am more and more being met with dirty bottles that are incredibly hard to clean. (but also, thank you!)

Myself and mainly Sula spend at least a full shift per week washing and sterilising these bottles to ensure they are ready for refilling. The seconds that it takes for you to rinse out the bottle with water - no need to fully wash - saves us SO much time.

It may seem like just a wee bit of kombucha sitting at the bottom of the bottle, but sometimes the bottles don't come back to us for one month - or more! After which point, that wee bit of boochie turns into a very solid, dark mass which can be so impossible to clean in some cases that the bottle ends up in the bin anway.

So please, please! Do us a solid and give your bottle a quick little rinse oot before you return it to us.

Alsoo, I cannot re-use the lids! So there is no need to return them.

I will be at until around 3pm with many goodies on offer but nothing in abundance so if you're keen to get your paws on some of the new offerings then be sure to get over early!

This photo was taken SIX YEARS AGO!? Mental. Markets were one of the main avenues that got my business going back in the early years but time pressure and life priorities have made them way less of a thing. I am very very excited to be setting up a stall for the first time in what feels like ages.

It's time to switch it up!

Strawberry & Basil. I am so pleased to have the kitchen filled with your sweet, sweet smells!

And this time, our goodbye to Carrot & Cardamom Kombucha is forever. I have decided to discontinue this flavour as a I have new ideas a'brewin.

Fermented Food Hub, update...

The food hub was always going to be a bit experimental to figure out what the space was meant for. Unfortunately, serving food from this space is not working out currently for a few different reasons.

However, I have a real strong drive for the fermented vegetables and the aim is to begin selling them further afield in 2026. We do also have a new product in the making, aiming for a January release.

The character of this space may change with time as I begin growing my own vegetables but as it stands the food offerings are not working out time/popularity wise. Thank you to everyone who has supported it so far.
