Fylde Community Awards 2025 - Children's Services Winner We provide services for those within the Wyre, Fylde, Preston and Blackpool area, offering evening groups (6-18yrs), Saturday clubs (Blackpool only, alt Saturdays, 8-18yrs) and holiday clubs (8-18yrs) for children/young people with additional needs and disabilities. PIP provides a SEND-IASS service which provides information, advice and support to disabled young people and those with SEN, their parents/carers, (who have children/young people aged 0-25 years). We are a registered charitable organisation based in Fleetwood and are funded by Local Authorities, local businesses, personal donations and in-house fund raising. We help children and young people with additional needs and disabilities to enjoy a fuller and more meaningful life and operate in and around Blackpool, Fylde, Preston & Wyre

🎉 FUNDRAISING FRIDAY – YOU’RE INVITED! 🎉

📅 Friday 23rd October 2026

For the very first time ever, we’re opening the doors to our Office HQ and welcoming our families, support workers and the public to join us for a special afternoon of fundraising, fun and community spirit ❤️

Join us for an afternoon packed with: Fun and games, stalls, delicious food, Refreshing beverages and lots of fundraising fun!

Then, as the evening begins, we’ll come together at 6PM to set off on our charity walk:

✨ PIP’S WALK THE LIGHT: WALKING FOR A CAUSE ✨

Every step we take and every penny we raise will help us get closer to our fundraising goal! This is also one of our last chances to raise vital funds for our Cash for Kids Sports Challenge, so let’s make it count!

Bring your family, invite your friends and come along to support a fantastic cause. Whether you join us for the afternoon, take part in the walk, or simply pop by to show your support, we’d love to see you there! 🫶

Before Summer we sent out a survey to be filled out by our Lancashire Break Time families for the months of April, May & June. We’d like to thank everybody who filled out our survey and gave feedback, we appreciate it 😄 As promised one winner will get a free session which will be credited to your account at PIP! We’re excited to announce that Play Inclusion Project (PIP) is taking part in a special charity fundraising challenge for Cash for Kids! We’ll be hosting our very own sponsored walk to raise money for the amazing children at PIP, and we’d love for our families to get involved 🤩

💡 Event: PIP’s Walk The Light: Walking For A Cause (Blackpool Illuminations)
💡 Date: Friday 23rd October 2026
💡 Starting and finishing point: 139 Red Bank Road, Bispham
💡 Meet-up/departure time: We’ll be leaving the office at 6:00pm and making our way down to the promenade, where our sponsored walk will begin

Let’s light up the night! We encourage everyone to dress in bright colours and bring anything that lights up, whether that’s glow sticks, flashing accessories or light-up clothing. Let’s make it a fun and colourful evening for everyone 🚥

We warmly invite our children, parents, carers and support workers to join us. The more people who take part, the more money we can raise together!

👋 HELLO OCTOBER 👋

And just like that, another month has come to an end, and we find ourselves in October! 😮

At Play Inclusion Project HQ, we have a packed month ahead with our Weekly Groups, the October Half Term Holiday Club, and even some exciting fundraising events lined up. It promises to be a busy yet thrilling month! 🤩
