We were having a go at full yogic breathing in class yesterday, so I thought I’d dig out my fact sheet from training.

Mindful breathing can help reduce stress, improve oxygenation, and calm the nervous system by activating the parasympathetic response — our “rest and digest” state.

We are delighted to be welcoming Yoga Movement Wellbeing with Jane Lee to our Body & Mind session this Sunday, 3pm at Raynham way community centre

It’s a chance to slow down, stretch out, and reconnect.

Whether you’re completely new to yoga or already have a regular practice, this class is a welcoming space to move, breathe, and reset together.

Thank you to the lovely yogis who came and practiced today, especially when the beautiful sunshine was calling.
Hoping you start your weekend feeling relaxed and nourished. 🫶🏻🧡 ☀️

We practised a body clock flow to start - a gentle Qigong sequence of movements, which is part of our Seasonal Yoga and aligned with Traditional Chinese Medicine ideas.
Helping us to flush energy around our organs to allow it to flow smoothly through the body.
The image highlights which organs and functions the body clock flow can support.
We can practise the Qigong movements at anytime in order to feel the benefits.😃

I’m truly thankful for those who come to my classes, but especially so today.. You know who are you are. 🫶🏻

People often believe that they can’t access yoga because they’re too… ‘XYZ’ (old, tall, overweight, not flexible, male etc)
My thoughts are that yoga can be for anyone, so long as their health and wellbeing needs allow and they enjoy it.
What you waiting for? Maybe find a class that you feel comfortable in and give it a try. ☺️
