I can't believe it's half term already!

All classes are running as normal this week except Sandleheath, which is having a half term break.

Bookings are now open for the next term of Sandleheath classes beginning Friday 5th June at 9am 💚

This is so cool 🤓 If you've been to my classes you may have noticed I never say "engage your core" or "navel to spine"... this is intentional! I want your core to be responsive to the loads it encounters in yoga and daily life. Just like we don't need to "engage our biceps" when lifting something up!

This study has shown that there was no benefit to actively engaging your core when practising the same movement program, both groups improved and the group who didn't engage their core had slightly better outcomes in terms of function and improving low back pain.

Hi everyone! I hope you've all had a lovely Easter ☺️ all classes resume this week! Although I have been on holiday, I have been busy behind the scenes moving to a new booking site.

Sandleheath classes are now available to book at vidabook.com/yogawithchristine 🤗 we have a 6 week term this time. As always you are welcome to block book the term or drop in for individual classes. Let me know if you have any issues booking and I can give you a hand! For those booking the term, please select the class pass for now. Course booking is in development 🥳

I am excited to share that there is also now the opportunity to book a pay as you can space. Life is becoming so expensive and I want yoga and community to be available for everyone all the time!

I am trialling two spots per class on an honesty basis, open to anyone who is struggling financially - including my current yogis or previous students who wish to return 💚 We all go through hard times, my aim is that no one has to sacrifice their yoga practice during these periods when it is often needed most xx

Hi friends, I'm taking a little break from Facebook for the next couple of weeks to focus on family and rest over the Easter holidays. I'll still be flowing at DLC, Verwood Hub, AF Ringwood and Ferndown as normal this week only. Then all classes resume from Monday 13th April 🤗 have a wonderful Easter and I'll see you soon! As always I am so grateful for everyone who joined me on the mat this term 💚 it is such a joy to share yoga with you all ###
