The best thing about Emma and Mel offering you over 20 years experience in semi permanent makeup is....well, our experience and knowledge.

Some of our younger clients love a flicky, lifted eyeliner, and when the skin is right for it… the result is just fabulous. This gorgeous client wanted that little wing to elongate her eye and give her that soft, feminine lift and it suits her beautifully.

But here’s the important bit.

A flicky eyeliner isn’t suitable for everyone. As we age (thank you, Mother Nature), the skin around the eyes can soften and sag slightly. That means a cute little flick can sometimes end up sloping downward once healed, which is the opposite of what we want.

At this stage, there’s a thin layer of pigment resting on top, almost like a veil and as it dries and naturally flakes away during the healing process, the colour softens into that gorgeous, airy finish everyone loves.

Here’s a perfect example of a healed soft powder brow tattoo. The difference is incredible. Once healed, the result is gentle, natural, and seamlessly blended… the kind of brow that looks like you, just a little more polished.
