We headed out to Berkeley Farm Dairy! 

Robin, Jemma and Jen, went to Wiltshire to meet the Goslings and their herd of 140 Guernsey cows.

This is one of our favourite parts of running the shops. The people behind the products we stock are always remarkable. The Goslings have been farming this land since 1908, organic since the 90s, still doing it their way. Unhomogenised milk, slow-made butter, cream that tastes like CREAM!

(If you want to know what kind of people they are, go to their website. On their Meet the Team page, the cows come first. “Stars of the show.” The dog is CEO of Mischief. The humans eventually get a mention :) 

We visited to learn, and to say thank you for being part of The Seasons Wholefoods family, helping build a food system that nourishes people and planet.

Last night at The Seasons Wholefoods in The Remedy Corner, we gathered for a beautifully grounding evening with Sophie, founder of Essential Blends ✨

Sophie shared the power of essential oils and the life force energy held within plants - how clean, natural ingredients can nourish, enliven and support both the skin and body from within 🌿

We explored the impact of ingredients like paraffin wax, which while protective for dry skin, can clog pores and are less environmentally friendly as they do not naturally break down. A gentle reminder that what we put on our bodies matters just as much as what we put into the environment around us.🌱

Sophie also introduced some of her favourite botanical ingredients, including rose for its cooling, anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties, before guiding us through a beautiful facial massage using key acupressure points, finishing the evening with a calming meditation ✨

With nourishing drinks and nibbles from The Seasons, it was a truly special evening of connection, learning and self-care at The Remedy Corner.
