Pure Moves We have classes taught by the area’s leading practitioners for all levels. The teachers are fully qualified and the rooms are comfortable and warm.

e of the lovely town of Frome. We have a wide range of therapies practiced by caring and leading professionals. As well as our regular classes there are specialist weekend workshops throughout the year. Main studio is a large bright open room (60sqm) where group classes can take place. Small studio is our Pilates Equipment studio. Treatment rooms that cater to therapists and meditation. The centre is set in a quiet location with its own peaceful garden. Tucked away from the hubbub of Marrakech on the outskirts of a traditional Moroccan Berber village, with the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and distant lights of Marrakech as your backdrop. Bea and Liz have over 20 years of teaching experience each, and together they have been running retreats at Tigmi for over ten years and cater to both beginners and experienced. Pilates is not the equipment, the choreography or the exercise.
How the movement is performed, attention to the detail, the breath, how muscles are recruited and how the joints are aligned, how it is taught and prescribed makes it Pilates.

Be aware: there are many types of training out there, online, weekend, add ons to a fitness qualification, short ones run by fitness companies and then there are comprehensive Pilates trainings which adhere to association guidelines involving at a start 500 and many up to 1500+ hours for comprehenaive qualification. Where exams are taken, papers are written, observations and practice teaching are logged . Physical conditions and injuries are studied and what to do and most importantly what a client shouldn’t do are learned . Where continuing education and first aid is a requirement . Where safety is paramount, precision, breath and body alignment all really matter. Pilates does make a difference, it creates positive changes and heals bodies when done correctly . Otherwise it’s just exercise and not Pilates.

Great message to all the guys from England's Rugby player George Ford - who was previously taught by Liz! Kudos 👏👏

“In recent months, I’ve been doing a lot more pilates. I know that sounds funny but what it has done to help my hip, my back, my kicking, everything has been great. We feel as rugby ­players we’re strong. When you’re in the gym you can lift weights and stuff but that has exposed a few areas in terms of weaknesses. I wish I’d have started it a bit earlier.”
