Hey everyone 🌺

I wanted to let you know that from May 2026, I will no longer be taking on new clients.

Feel a bit mad saying this, but bookings have become crazy tight recently. I’ve taken on nearly 30 new clients this year which I’m SO incredibly grateful for, but the reality is; many of my long-term clients are struggling to book in.

I want my practice to feel accessible and maintain a supportive space for my regulars first and foremost…so, this feels like the right next step to take.

To all my regulars: thank you for sticking with me and for your endless patience!! I’m beyond lucky to have your continual trust and support. Thank you!!! I hope this change allows me to give you the time and availability you deserve.

For new clients who have a Gift Voucher outstanding, these of course will still be valid until their normal expiry date. I’ll be in touch with everyone who has an active voucher to ensure you can still book online 💌

Lastly, for anyone that has been hoping to book in - I will be offering a ‘Waiting List’ option should some last-minute spaces become available. This can be found on my website www.shanthimassage.co.uk 🌿

I’m sure one day in the future I’ll reopen my books, when the time feels right. But for now - thank you for your understanding 🙏

Happy New Year everyone, I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas break 🎄

The festive season can look so different for everyone, whether it’s slow, soft days tucked indoors, or happy moments shared with loved ones. However it unfolded for you, I hope it was just what you needed

🌱 As we move into the year ahead, I have some important updates to share with you...

Sadly, the building I was practicing from on King Street has been sold. I vacated mid-December and after weeks of looking at potential spaces, I’ve made the decision to relocate my practice back home. This was a big shock and definitely not how I expected to end the year...but if 2025 taught me anything; it’s to meet change with openness when life keeps shifting the ground beneath us.

🏠 New Address Update

I’ll be contacting everyone with a pre-booked appointment/voucher individually to confirm the new address and arrival details, making sure everything feels comfortable and clear.

I genuinely loved working from home for many years, so rather than feeling like a “step backwards”, I’m looking forward to inviting you all back into the warmth of my little cottage (ps. having a massage in front of an open fire doesn’t sound too bad, right?)

👪 family:life balance

On a personal note, I wanted to share that my family responsibilities have shifted slightly.

In all honesty, my son is finding school challenging. There are monumental gaps in the UK educational and healthcare system in supporting neurodiverse families and children with SEN.

To support him as best I can, I’ve decided to flexibly home-school for the coming months. This brings some inevitable adjustment to my working pattern, but please know that I remain committed to offering the same level of care and attention to my practice.

I deeply value the connections I’ve built with my clients over the years, and I wanted to be open and honest with you about these changes. Thank you for your continuous patience, understanding, kindness, and support — it truly means so much ❤️

✨ Price Update ✨

Hey y’all.

I reached out to my client base last month to let them know that from September 2025, there will be a small price increase on all treatments.

Please rest assured that:
💆 All existing bookings will be honoured at the current rate
💆 Concessionary rates will still be available on request

This is never an easy decision and I always put it off as keeping bodywork accessible to everyone has always been at the heart of my practice. At the same time, this change reflects the rising costs of being a self-employed therapist. A lot goes on behind the scenes; my new premises, insurance, professional body membership, first aid training, booking software, marketing, a LOTTT of laundry, using only high-quality waxes and essential oils, and the ongoing training I invest in to keep growing as a therapist.

I hope this adjustment also honors the years of experience and expertise I bring to my practice.

MY BI-ANNUAL SOCIAL MEDIA CHECK IN👏

Alright lovelies, everyone ok?! Hope you’re all enjoying the last squeeze of summer sunshine + found some time to recharge during the holidays.

I wanted to share some news about my practice, as there are a few changes coming up.

After 6 wonderful years working from home, I’m excited to announce that I've recently moved to a new location in the heart of Frome town 🌇

It's been a huge decision that brought up a tonne of mixed feelings for me. I know what a special space my treatment room became over the years, for both my clients and myself.

There's been tears, laughter, soul-sharing moments and plenty of Selkie-zen-cat snuggling 🐱 Somewhere I've been so lucky to have grown my practice, but most importantly, somewhere so many of you have continued to choose as a haven for you and your body. It's been a genuine pleasure inviting so many wonderful souls into my home + into that space.

But now, home - is home. And honestly, not meticulously cleaning the house everyday is an absolute *DREAM*

💫💫NEW BEGINNINGS BABY💫💫

It’s been a whirlwind start after the summer, but there are still a few spaces free for Sept/Oct, AND I'm stoked to be finally offering some evening and weekend appointments again!! Cosy candle-lit treatments? errrrr YES🕯️

Going forward, my new working hours are:
• Tuesday (1-7pm)
• Wednesday (10am – 4.30pm)
• Thursday (10am – 4.30pm)
• + the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month (10am-4.30pm)

Hey everyone, I hope you're all enjoying this big dose of sunshine we're getting here in the UK 🌞

This is a little update to let you know that I've made some changes to my online bookings. For a while I've wanted there to be a clearer option at the point of booking for clients to specify what kind of treatment their body needs.

Working with intention is a huge part of my practice. Knowing prior to treatment if you're looking for a soothing session to de-stress and switch off (rather than some of the more intense deep-tissue techniques) allows me to tailor your sessions to exactly what you need.

Regular clients will know how much I love blending the world of holistic massage with specialized sports techniques; using deeper work to create long-lasting change, without missing out on the relaxing element of a treatment. For those that love a combined approach, don't worry - your treatments won't change! Every treatment can be adapted for you and your body.

Hey online world, it’s been a minute.

I am bursting with excitement to announce that I am now qualified in Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork.

This is my second time training with the wonderful Jan from and founder of

And, the second time I’ve had to pick my jaw up off the floor seeing some incredible work unfold. Moreover - the impact it has on the individual both physically, and emotionally.

I want to say a huge thank you to my clients that volunteered as case studies as part of this course, allowing me the huge honor of working on their scars (and allowing me permission to share the following photos ➡️).

I was amazed to witness the changes and shifts within the tissue from such a gentle approach. It is a huge reminder that no matter how old a scar may be - be it surgical or from an injury - our tissue is still very much alive and able to adapt to light touch, care, listening and intention.

Some key reminders I have taken away from this approach are:

- Less is more
- If you’re unsure what the next step is - go lighter, and listen
- Follow the tissue. It knows it’s way home.

I can’t really put into words the joy of being in a room full of other therapists who share my love of the human body. Who view and understand it in the same miraculous way as I have come to know over the last 10 years. The science behind how we approach the body and its response to therapy is ever changing, and I know I will never stop learning.
