It has been such a long time since I had anyone in for Upper Lip Lines that it wasnโ€™t even listed as a treatment on my new (not that new anymore) booking system ๐Ÿคฃ

This is a fantastic treatment for hiding these pesky giveaway signs of ageing, which needs a specialised super fine filler to ensure the top lip doesnโ€™t end up protruding. Some swelling is evident in the after photos but that will settle in a couple of days ๐Ÿฅฐ

Today I had the privilege of treating a very special first time client, and it was such a lovely experience ๐Ÿ’—

Before any treatment, we carried out a really thorough consultation and assessment. She was wonderfully well & although she was keen to have a little refresh, we both agreed that for her first ever aesthetic treatment, less was definitely more.

She felt that her face had been through a lot over the years & wanted to restore some of the volume and structure she had gradually lost, without looking like sheโ€™d โ€˜had work doneโ€™.

So we used just 3ml of dermal filler, placed very strategically.

The main focus was her cheeks, because restoring volume here can help rebuild the underlying structure that supports the lower face. From there, we used small amounts to soften the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, pre-jowl area and jawline.

The goal wasnโ€™t to change her face. It was to refresh, restore and enhance what was already there โœจ

I think this is such a lovely reminder that there really is no โ€˜one size fits allโ€™ when it comes to aesthetic treatment. Every face, every stage of life and every client needs a completely individual approach.

For me, it will always come down to what the client wants, what is appropriate for them, & how we can achieve that in the most natural and considered way possible.

And honestly? She absolutely smashed it. ๐Ÿ–ค
