Three years ago, Carol came home from holiday, looked back at her photos and decided she wanted to ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ.

Her journey had a few stops and starts along the way, including knee surgery. Then, in 2024, ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต๐˜€ ๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐˜„๐—ต๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—œ ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜ ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ณ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด. Carol stopped me, asked for a leaflet and decided to come along to group.

And on Thursdayโ€ฆ ๐—ฆ๐—›๐—˜ ๐—”๐—–๐—›๐—œ๐—˜๐—ฉ๐—˜๐—— ๐—›๐—˜๐—ฅ ๐—ง๐—”๐—ฅ๐—š๐—˜๐—ง! ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ’—

Carol is now an ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐Ÿฏ๐˜€๐˜ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฎ๐—น๐—ฏ๐˜€ lighter and recently celebrated her sonโ€™s wedding feeling happier and more confident in herself.

Carol says the secret has simply been sticking at it. Coming to group, taking the support, learning along the way and keeping going.

Last night in group we celebrated ๐—ฎ ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—น๐˜† ๐—”๐—ป๐—ป โค๏ธ

Ann reached her Personal Achievement Target back in September 2018 after ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฎ ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐—น๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐Ÿญยฝ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒโ€ฆ and ๐Ÿด ๐—ฌ๐—˜๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ฆ ๐—Ÿ๐—”๐—ง๐—˜๐—ฅ, sheโ€™s still there! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
