We are currently experiencing an exceptionally busy period, particularly following the recent bank holiday.

from ordering your prescription to collecting it.

If your prescription is not yet ready, please bear with us while our team works through the workload.

Please bear in mind that our phones are answered by our dispensary team, rather than a dedicated receptionist.

Our team may be dispensing prescriptions, serving patients or dealing with other essential pharmacy services, so we may not always be able to answer immediately. We will answer your call as soon as we can.

🩺 Walk-in appointments

We do accept walk-in appointments, and we will always do our best to see you as soon as possible. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee that you will be seen immediately, as another appointment or consultation may already be in progress.

We kindly ask for your patience if you need to wait. This helps us ensure that each patient receives the time and attention they need.

We dispense over 9,500 prescription items every month — that’s approximately 450 items every working day.

We genuinely appreciate your patience, kindness and understanding while our team works hard to provide a safe and efficient service.

Recycle your empty blister packs here! ♻️

• This new scheme enables patients to return empty blister packs at local pharmacies for safe, compliant recycling. The programme accepts all empty plastic-and-foil blister packaging, provided medication has been removed.
• Provides convenient recycling access, making recycling accessible and straightforward.
• This will reduce pharmaceutical packaging waste and demonstrate environmental responsibility through a compliant, end-to-end blister pack recycling process.

If you're eligible, you can now get your free MenB vaccine.

MenB can cause serious illnesses like meningitis and septicaemia.

You may be eligible if you are:
✅ 17 to 18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
✅ Under 25 and starting university or moving into residential further education for the first time

Eligible 17 to 18-year-olds born between these dates can book online if they’re registered with a GP in England. Eligible under-25s can get vaccinated at a participating pharmacy – no GP registration is needed.

You'll need 2 doses, given at least 4 weeks apart, for the best protection.

Patients taking Crescent Pharma Limited, Ramipril 2.5mg capsules are advised to check their packaging for batch number GR155023 and contact us if any blister strips inside are labelled as Ramipril 10mg.
