Snacking isn’t automatically a problem.
But if you’re constantly reaching for something without really thinking about whether you’re hungry, it can be worth looking at what’s going on.
Sometimes we snack because we’re bored, tired, stressed or simply because the food is there.
And sometimes the snack we choose just doesn’t keep us satisfied for very long.
Try choosing snacks that include protein, fibre or healthy fats, and ask yourself whether you’re actually hungry before reaching for something.
You don’t need to cut snacks out completely.
It’s about making them work for you, rather than feeling like they’re working against you.
