"After trying for well over three years, we were finally referred to Fertility North East, where we spent almost a year going through tests and investigations. We were eventually told that we would need to undergo ICSI. We did our research and, quite frankly, made the best decision we have ever made by choosing Gateshead Fertility Clinic.

"From our very first appointment in October 2025, the staff at the clinic were nothing short of fantastic. Every single person we met was caring, reassuring and supportive, and we genuinely could not have wished for a better experience.

"In December 2025, we found out that we were pregnant, and we also had two little embryos safely frozen for the future. From the nurses and consultants to every other member of staff we had the pleasure of dealing with, we will be forever grateful for everything you have done for us.

Ovulation Induction: what to actually expect 💛

If you're not ovulating regularly, OI might be one of the treatments we'll talk about — and it's a lot more straightforward than people assume.

It starts with getting a clear picture: an ultrasound, tubal patency test, s***m test and hormonal bloods, so we know exactly what we're working with. From there, daily injections (self-administered at home, no clinic trips) gently stimulate your ovaries, with scans along the way to track how things are progressing. Once a follicle's ready, a trigger injection helps release the egg — and you're on to timed in*******se at home.

Most patients who go on to conceive with OI do so within the first 3 months of treatment.

DID YOU KNOW 's Fertility Trends report found that the number of babies born from IVF has more than doubled in the past 20 years, increasing from 10,200 in 2004 to around 21,400 babies born in 2024 🤔👶📈

Of these, most were born from IVF treatment using the patients’ own egg and partner s***m 🐣
