Sundays ✨

Sunday mornings will always have my heart as it’s where it all began!
Rewind 1 year when everyone was new to yoga. Majority turned up with low expectations of their capabilities a no clue to where it would lead. Here we are today, same people, same vibes, but now this Sunday class is part of our week. We plan around it. We understand the importance of putting time aside for ourselves, to put the busyness of life to one side, move our bodies and just simply be.

I know Yoga is relaxing but we laughed our heads off all morning and I love that. Our little community. The best.

ONE YEAR.

Firstly, thank you to everyone that attended today’s class AND for all the lush messages, cards and presents! 🥹

I actually cannot believe that it’s been a whole year since that first class in Birtley Gym.
From making an Instagram page and hiring a room for £20, wondering if anyone would come… to THIS.

My Dad always says that “the only person that doubts Laura Thompson is Laura Thompson”. He’s never wrong, but this time there was never a doubt. This has felt right from day 1 and I was only ever going to end up here. But I wouldn’t be here without you all and I am beyond grateful that you’ve followed me on this journey. Our little community and all the memories we’ve made so far makes my heart so full.
It’s not my studio, it’s our studio. Somewhere for everyone to come when they need it.

Yoga literally is magic.

5 things I hear all the time.

How many matter ? ZERO.

We’ve had over 250 students through the door in the last year who all thought at least one of these things.

I know I say this all the time but yoga is a practice, not a performance. No one cares what you’re doing. It’s about showing up and putting time aside for yourself.

You might meet a friend, you might surprise yourself, you might feel part of something and want to come back.

If you don’t believe me.. come and find out.

You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
