Hi there, we are Jenny and Nicola and we chose the name Meraki because we felt it represents us perfectly and the holistic treats we want to share with you. We are best friends and busy mums with a background in Education as a teacher and teaching assistant. Holistic therapies have become a
massive part of
our lives over the last fifteen years or so and ‘Reiki’ in particular, has been a game changer! Helping us to better cope with the daily stresses and the many challenges life throws at us. Our paths have crossed many times growing up, but the universe finally managed to connect us together properly and we soon became the closest of friends with a shared passion for holistic loveliness! Reiki, crystals, sound healing, mindfulness and meditation to name a few! We know from first hand how important self care is for your soul, your strength and your personal power. Using our holistic tool kit, our main aim is to take care of you. To help you feel your worth, to help you on your journey of self love, to trigger within you, your ability to heal yourself. To help you switch off, to manage your worries, to help you slow down, be happy and to help you be the best version of you. We often hear ourselves saying ‘You can’t fill from an empty cup!’, this is fast becoming our motto! We are based in Gedling, lNottingham though we can travel and come to you if your space is suitable. We also have a treatment space In Burton Joyce. What is REIKI? Reiki is traditionally a Japanese form of energy healing. ‘Universal energy’ is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to encourage emotional and physical healing. The client remains fully clothed and can either sit or lay on a couch comfortably with a blanket and cushions. We may touch your head, shoulders, arms and legs but for the rest of the body the hands rest above. Reiki can be different every time you receive it, but the healing energy is always channeled for the clients greater good. Please read some of our reviews to see what clients say. What is a SOUNDBATH? A SoundBath is a deeply relaxing and meditate experience, where the clients are literally bathed in sound and vibrations. The sounds are produced by crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, singing bowls and other healing instruments. The intention of a SoundBath is to help change and balance the energies of the clients. The clients can sit or lay down comfortably with blankets and cushions and enjoy the benefits of deep relaxation, like nothing else, and increased wellbeing, expanded awareness and beautiful healing. Cancellation and Refund Policy
If a client wishes to cancel an appointment at Meraki wellness and healing at least 48 hours must be given. If this is not done and an equivalent alternative client is not found and the place remains un-filled then Meraki Wellness and Healing will retain any money paid as a charge for their loss arising from the cancellation. Any requests to change appointment times and dates will be accommodated where possible. However any such request must be at least 48 hours before the appointment with Meraki Wellness and Healing. A full refund may be given for cancellations with more than 1 weeks notice. A partial refund will be given for cancellations of less than 1 week. No refund will be given for cancellations of less than 48 hours. Gift vouchers expire after 6 months and are non-refundable.
