🌙 Waking Night Support Worker
Location: Chatham and Canterbury Kent
Hours: 31.5 hours per week (Rota in place)
Pay: £12.60 per hour (£20,638.80 pro rata)
Overtime: £14.00 per hour

Are you calm, compassionate, and confident working independently at night?
We’re looking for a Waking Night Support Worker who can provide safe, responsive, and truly person-centred support to individuals with autism. Your role is vital — ensuring the people we support feel secure, respected, and empowered throughout the night.
This isn’t just supervision. It’s about being present, proactive, and professional when it matters most.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing attentive, high-quality overnight support
Responding calmly and effectively to any needs or incidents
Promoting independence while maintaining safety and wellbeing
Carrying out routine safety and environment checks
Maintaining accurate records and clear communication
Creating a calm, clean, and secure setting
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting individuals with autism in a care or support setting
A genuine understanding that autism is complex and individual
Confidence to work independently and stay alert during night shifts
A patient, reliable, and compassionate approach
