If you have been advised to have an ECG, or you want reassurance about your heart rhythm, MedAssistant offers private ECG appointments from our regulated Glasgow clinic.

An ECG is a simple, quick and painless test that records the electrical activity of your heart. It can be helpful for a range of non-urgent reasons, including:

• palpitations or an awareness of your heartbeat
• dizziness or unexplained light-headedness
• a newly diagnosed high blood pressure reading
• before or during treatment with certain medications
• monitoring medicines used for ADHD
