Every day, families experience the heartbreak of pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and neonatal loss. No parent should have to endurye one of the most devastating moments of their life without appropriate support, privacy, and compassionate care.
We're calling for dedicated baby loss facilities in all maternity hospitals so bereaved parents have a safe, private space away from the sounds and sights of newborn celebrations while they grieve.

I just want to take a minute to thank Monica Lennon for Rutherglen, Cambuslang and Blantyre who worked so hard to help me get baby loss facilities into Wishaw General Hospital. Monica has a lot of determination, strength, and confidence when it comes to fighting for what’s right.

I hope other MSPs and MPs can get on board with my campaign to get dedicated baby loss facilities into all maternity hospitals.

Women should not have to fight for a separate location to deliver their sleeping baby. It is barbaric and inhumane.
Let’s see which parties and which MSPs step up and help future women and families. I’m sure many of these politicians who have daughters, nieces, sisters, or loved ones would hate for them to deliver in a live labour ward during such a heartbreaking time.
