Interesting aspect of reiki history

⛩️ Before Usui Reiki became the name the world remembers, Japan already had a wider world of reijutsu (spiritual healing arts).

Records point to at least three Reiki methods that existed before Usui:
🪬 Reikan Tonetsu Ryoho.
🪬 Senshin-ryu Reiki Ryoho.
🪬 Seido Reisho-jutsu.

They did not spread widely.
They were not taught publicly.

Reiki as we know it today did not have a 'sudden beginning'.
It was practiced under different names and in different ways. One of which became visible and started spreading, while others quietly disappeared.
