I’ve walked past this bougainvillea outside our villa almost every day. Every time I do, I stop for a moment.

It reminded me of this beautiful quote by Rumi.

In my work as a hypnotherapist, people often arrive exhausted by the battle they’re having with themselves. The constant inner voice telling them they should be different, should have more willpower, should be coping better.

Hypnotherapy isn’t about judging ourselves. It’s about stepping outside that battle.

Sometimes real change begins in a quieter place… where we can simply breathe, let go of the struggle, and begin again with kindness.

Maybe that’s the “garden” Rumi was talking about.

Sitting in the square with a coffee, listening to the lovely live Spanish music, was the perfect way to finish our visit. 🇪🇸🎶
