Our residents had great fun taking part in the new Streamer Spin Challenge! 🎉

The challenge was simple – wind up the streamers as quickly as possible while removing the pegs along the way. This engaging activity encouraged concentration, hand-eye coordination, dexterity and problem-solving skills.

Activities like this are particularly beneficial for residents living with dementia, providing a fun way to support fine motor skills, focus and a sense of achievement.

There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition and determination on display as everyone gave it their best effort. Well done to all who took part! 👏😊

🍽️ Bar Lunch with Karen
Residents enjoyed a lovely bar lunch today hosted by Wellbeing Coordinator Karen. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, enjoy good food, great company, and plenty of conversation in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
These social dining experiences help promote friendship, wellbeing, and a strong sense of community throughout the home. 💛

Memories in Pictures 📸
Wellbeing Coordinator Karen spent time creating personalised photo collages for residents using photographs from past activities, events and special moments around the home.
These unique collages celebrate happy memories, friendships and achievements, giving residents a wonderful keepsake to enjoy and reminisce about. It was lovely to look back on so many smiles and special occasions while creating something meaningful for each individual. ❤️

🎤🎶 Karaoke Afternoon Fun in Mull Community! 🎶🎤
Residents enjoyed a fantastic karaoke afternoon with Wellbeing Coordinator Janine in Mull Community. It was wonderful to see some residents bravely take to the microphone for the very first time, filling the room with music, laughter, and confidence.
There was plenty of dancing too, with Care Assistant Martin leading the way on the dance floor and encouraging everyone to join in the fun. A great afternoon of singing, socialising, and making happy memories together! 💃🕺🎵😊

ElderFit Dance Fun! 💃🎶🕺
There was plenty of laughter, movement and fun today as residents joined Wellbeing Coordinator Janine for an energetic ElderFit Dance Fun session!
Using ElderFit and Dance Along Gal on the big screen, residents danced, stretched and exercised together, filling the room with smiles and great enthusiasm. The music had everyone tapping along, making exercise feel more like a party than a workout!
A fantastic group activity promoting physical wellbeing, social interaction and lots of fun along the way. 🌟

Today we celebrated our wonderful colleague Shashi as she begins her maternity leave ahead of the arrival of her baby boy. 💙
