Kirstin has been an FFP member since July 2025.

She was looking to tone up and feel more confident in her clothes, but wasn't sure how to get there on her own.

While she's gotten stronger in the gym since joining.

The real benefits have shown up outside the gym.

Such as when she had to travel on her own last year.

When her suitcase came round the airport luggage belt, she was able to lift it off herself without hesitation πŸ’ͺ.

Something she would've struggled with previously.

That might not sound like a big deal, but small things like that are a huge achievement.

Because strength training isn't just about getting stronger in the gym.

It's about making every day life easier too!

So I got my microphone out today to chat about my 6 week trial again with a better quality video πŸ‘.

Interested in strength training but don't know where to start?

I've got spaces available this September for my 6 Week Trial at Fit for Purpose.

You don't need to be fit, exprienced or confident in a gym to get started.

Over the 6 weeks you'll have...

πŸ’ͺ 2Γ—45 minute Group PT sessions every week

πŸ“‹ A structured training programme to follow

πŸ‹οΈ Coaching and guidance throughout your workouts

πŸ“ˆ Progressive training to help you build strength and fitness

🀝 Support and accountability each step of the way

And you'll do it all in a private women's only studio in Hillington, alongside other women who can relate to where you're at and how you're currently feeling.

Whether you're completely new to strength training or haven't exercised in a while, I'll show you exactly what to do.

I have spaces available in September.

If you're interested drop me a message and we'll have a chat.

We can also arrange a time for you to visit the gym and get a feel for the place too.

It's easy for things to slip when life gets busy.

Telling yourself you'll start exercising when things calm down.

When works less hectic.

When the kids start school.

When you've got more time.

But no matter what.

There's usually ALWAYS something!

Rather than waiting for the perfect time.

Focus on what you can do now.

That's why at FFP, I help you find an exercise routine that fits into your life without taking it over.

- 45 minute sessions so you don't have to spend hours in the gym.

- A flexible timetable so it's easy to fit your sessions in.

- Having something in your diary to turn up to each week.

I want to make it as easy as possible to fit your sessions into your life.

If you've been telling yourself you'll start "when things quieten down".

This could be your sign to stop waiting.

I have spaces for my 6 Week Trial available for September.

Drop me a message today and I'll send you more details.

Are everyday things starting to feel harder than they used to?

Things that once felt easy not feeling quite as easy anymore.

πŸͺ‘ Feeling stiff after sitting for a while

πŸͺœ Stairs leaving you out of breath

πŸ›οΈ Struggling to carry the shopping

πŸ§Žβ€β™€οΈ Difficulty getting dressed, getting out of bed, and getting down and up from the floor.

And maybe you're thinking...

"Is this just part of getting older?"

But you don't want to spend the next 10, 20 or 30 years gradually doing less because your body is making everyday life harder.

You want to feel strong, capable and confident in your body for as long as possible.

And the best way to achieve that is through strength training.

Some of the benefits include...

- Stronger bones.
- Stronger muscles.
- Better balance (less falls).
- Fewer aches & pains.
- Less injury prone.
- Quicker recovery rate from injuries.
- Improved mood & energy levels.

And it's never too late to start!

Drop me a message today to find out more about my Group PT trial.

One of the most common questions I get is do I work out on holiday.

I was recently away for a week, and actually didn't workout this time.

I meant to bring a resistance band but forgot to pack it lol.

Tbh I didn't really have a chance to train while I was away.

I suppose if I really wanted to I could've set an alarm and got up early to do it.

But I didn't want to.

I quite enjoyed getting up without an alarm for a change.

There's times I've been away and trained every day.

Usually when the hotel has a gym with decent air con haha.

So I personally don't have any set rules, I basically do what I want.

If I want to train I will.

If I don't I won't.

And I don't think there's a right or wrong answer.

There's nothing up with doing nothing while you're away.

Some people just want to go away and eat, drink & relax.

And there's also nothing up with training while you're away.

For some exercise is a big part of their weekly routine, it would be strange for them not to workout while theyre away.

So basically do what you want while you're away.

But do your best to get back into a routine as quick as possible once you're back.

I know it personally takes me at least a week to settle back in after traveling.

The longer you put it off the harder it'll feel.
