ents not only the beauty and holistic treatments but most of all the time and space they truly needed for themselves just because ….we all deserve it. You learn quite a lot when you’re around people who are faced with life’s questions and decisions. I learnt how resilient we are as a human being, most of all I learnt a lot about yourself. They shared so many stories about the unfulfilled dreams, regrets and struggles as well as all the beautiful life stories. It certainly made me questioned about all the things I want to experience and still to achieve. So the last 3 years I have concentrated on focusing what I wanted to contribute to this world. The name is inspired by the way I am with everyone....always looking for an opportunity to give an awesome hug or two (making up for lost hugs from my childhood, I think). It brightens my day and I’m sure it doesn’t go amiss with the people receiving it. Things just feel better even just for a little while when you truly hugging someone and of course receiving them. The Dalai Lama said, ‘world peace must develop from inner peace’. I certainly believe that. So I’m spreading a bit of world peace one hug at a time. I also manufacture my own Natural and Organic Skincare products which came out from trying to find solutions to my own allergy-prone skin condition. They are all high quality, ethically sourced ingredients. I use these products in all the treatments I offer. The range is available for my current clients and the general public. I am always looking for ways to improve my life and hopefully everyone I come into contact with so I strive to live as natural as possible and be conscious of the impact I have on the environment. This will be an ongoing challenge for all of us that hopefully, we will succeed in the new future. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I hope I get a chance to share a hug or two with you and provide you with the much needed time and space that you deserve. Have an awesome day x

Your skin isn’t separate from you. It’s part of you. ❤️

One of the biggest shifts I made on my own healing journey was realising my skin wasn’t broken or working against me.
It was communicating.

We treat our skin like a car that’s suddenly developed a fault for no reason. We scrub it, strip it, cover it up, fight it… without ever asking what it’s trying to tell us.
But your skin is alive.

It’s your body’s largest organ and it has incredible intelligence. Every second it’s renewing itself, regulating temperature, keeping moisture in, helping defend against bacteria and viruses, supporting your immune system, producing vitamin D from sunlight, giving you sensation and acting as a protective barrier between you and the outside world.

Its whole job is balance.

Over 18 years, and through my own skin struggles, I learned that stress isn’t just emotional. It’s physical, environmental, hormonal, nutritional… and even the products we put on our skin can add to the load.

I work with people facing some of life’s hardest challenges, burnout, cancer, chronic illness, mental and physical health struggles. And even then, the body is still fighting for you. Still trying to find its way back to balance.

Sometimes we overwhelm our skin with 10 different products morning and night, all trying to do different jobs. One might be highly acidic, another more alkaline, one stripping oils while the next is trying to replace them.

Then we wonder why our skin is confused.

My advice is often simple.
Use fewer products, but use them well. If you have 10, you don’t need all 10 every day. Rotate them. Give your skin space to do what it was designed to do. And if you’re layering everything at once, how do you even know what’s helping?

I say this as someone who loved a complicated skincare routine in her 20s and 30s. Simplicity became one of the best gifts I ever gave my skin.

Your body isn’t your enemy.
It’s an intelligent, miraculous system working around the clock to protect you, adapt and come back into balance.

Sometimes it just needs a little less interference… and a little more support. 💚

And if you genuinely love your 10 step routine?
Do it. Do it because it brings you joy, because it’s your ritual, because it’s yours. Just don’t do it because someone told you that you had to. Skincare should never be another thing on the stress list. That defeats the whole point.

Never forget… you are fabulous, magnificent, beautiful and wonderfully made. Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you. 🤗🥰

One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is learning to pause and listen.

This little exercise is inspired by body awareness and muscle-testing techniques used in some holistic practices, including kinesiology. I use it with clients as a way to reconnect with themselves and become more curious about what their body might be trying to communicate.

Sometimes we’re convinced we’re hungry… when we’re actually thirsty.

Sometimes we think we need to push through… when what we really need is rest.

Sometimes we believe we need to make a big change… when all we need is a quiet walk and a deep breath.

I’ve even used this kind of check-in to help me tune into how I’m feeling, narrow down choices, decide between simple options, and notice when life has become too noisy.

That said, I don’t believe tools like this should replace common sense or careful thinking, especially when it comes to important life decisions.

If you’re making a major decision about your health, finances, relationships or career, take a step back. Gather information. Reflect. Seek wise advice if needed. Sleep on it. Pray if that’s part of your practice.

Think of this exercise as a gentle compass, not a map.

Its purpose isn’t to tell you what to do.

Its purpose is to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and notice what you may already know deep down.

✨ I’m curious… if you tried the exercise, what did you discover? 🤍

Would you like me to share more simple exercises like this? Let me know below… I have plenty that you can try at home. 🤍

I’ve never believed that people are just bodies.

To me, you’re not just muscles and skin… you’re emotions, experiences, energy, memories, hopes, and a nervous system that’s been doing its very best to protect you.

That’s why I don’t just focus on where it hurts.

I care for the whole of you.

Sometimes your body needs a massage.
Sometimes your mind needs rest.
Sometimes your soul needs a little love.

And sometimes what you really need is to feel seen, heard, and safe enough to let go.

I won’t rush you.
I won’t judge you.
I’ll simply meet you where you are… with compassion, curiosity, and care.

Because true wellbeing isn’t just about treating the body.

It’s about caring for the person who’s been carrying too much for too long. ❤️

If this is you… maybe this is your sign to let someone take care of you for a change.

Last week I spent a beautiful afternoon at Lochar Mill Riverside Retreat with my lovely friends I Am Jen Wilson, The Healing Rebel and Jean Fenwick - Midlife Empowerment Coach, and I genuinely left feeling calmer than when I arrived.

We enjoyed the sauna, braved the cold plunge (which was surprisingly refreshing!), explored the peaceful grounds, and discovered lovely spaces for yoga, meditation, gatherings and even dining if you wanted to make a full day of it.

Life can get so busy that we forget how good it feels to simply stop.

To breathe.

To chat.

To laugh.

To let our nervous systems remember what calm feels like.

If you’re looking for somewhere to host a retreat, celebrate with friends, enjoy a romantic day together or simply escape the hustle for a few hours, I’d definitely recommend giving it a look.

Sometimes a change of environment is all it takes to reconnect with yourself. 💛

What if this isn’t just how life has to be?

What if constantly feeling exhausted...

Running on empty...

Pushing through...

Holding everything together...

Isn’t actually normal?

I’ve spent 18 years supporting women through chronic illness, cancer treatment, stress, anxiety and burnout.

And one thing I’ve noticed is this...

Many women have become so used to surviving that they’ve forgotten what thriving feels like.

They’ve forgotten what it feels like to wake up with energy.

To feel excited.

To have space to think.

To create.

To dream.

To trust themselves.

Most women don’t need more discipline.

They need more permission.

Permission to rest.

Permission to receive support.

Permission to listen to what their body has been trying to tell them.

Because this is not how life has to be.

There is another way.

A gentler way.

A more connected way.

A way where you work with yourself instead of against yourself.

Before you scroll on, pause for a moment and ask yourself:

✨ “What do I need right now?”

Not what everyone else needs from you.

Not what should be done next.

What do YOU need?

Then see if you can give yourself even 5 minutes of that today.

✨ Have you been surviving for so long that you’ve forgotten what thriving feels like?

And if you’d like some help finding your way back to yourself, I’m right here. 🤍

For years, I thought these were self-care practices.

Now I realise they’re actually acts of self-respect.

At 53, I’ve finally learned that these aren’t optional for me.

They’re my protocol.

The things that help me stay connected to my body, my heart, my purpose and God.

What still blows my mind is how many times I got myself into a really sh*tty place before I joined the dots.

I’d feel exhausted.

Overwhelmed.

Disconnected.

Sometimes heading towards depression.

And I’d sit wondering what was wrong with me.

Yet when I look back, I’d usually stopped doing the very things that help me stay well.

Because when I stop doing them consistently, I slowly become disconnected from myself.

The noise gets louder.

My energy drops.

Life starts feeling heavier than it needs to.

Thankfully, I have a wonderful husband who knows me well enough to gently remind me when I’ve drifted away from my own medicine.

What’s interesting is that none of these things are complicated.

Water.

Music.

Prayer.

Meditation.

Healing touch.

Hugs.

Play.

Positive self-talk.

Connection.

Yet these simple practices have changed my life more than almost anything else.

As someone who has spent 18 years supporting people through chronic illness, cancer treatment, stress, trauma, grief, anxiety and burnout, I’ve noticed something...

Many people don’t need fixing.

They need reconnecting.

Reconnecting to themselves.

Reconnecting to what brings them joy.

Reconnecting to their body.

Reconnecting to love.

Reconnecting to hope.

For me, this is what self-care has become.

A daily practice of remembering who I am.

Not becoming someone new.

Simply returning to myself.

I’d love to know...

✨ What’s in YOUR protocol?

What helps you stay connected to yourself when life gets noisy?

You never know... your answer might be exactly what someone else needs to hear today.

💚 Save this post for the days when you need a reminder to come back to yourself.

I see comments like these every single week...

✨ “Something shifted.”

✨ “I can’t explain it... but I feel different.”

✨ “I walked in heavy and left feeling peaceful.”

✨ “I feel connected to myself again.”

✨ “My whole body softened.”

And honestly... that’s why this research excites me.

Not because I need a study to tell me what I see every day in my treatment room, but because more and more people are becoming curious about the power of slowing down, receiving, and allowing the body to come back into balance.

I came across this fascinating Reel from , who are exploring the science and stories behind energy healing, including research from scientists at Harvard and the University of Utah looking at Reiki and chronic pain.

It’s definitely worth giving them a follow if you’re curious about the growing body of research around energy healing and the experiences people are having.

Whether you come to me for Reiki, massage, a facial, EFT, or one of my tailored wellness sessions, every treatment is infused with the same intention...

To create a space where your body feels safe enough to let go.

Safe enough to breathe.

Safe enough to remember its own wisdom.

Sometimes people leave feeling lighter.

Sometimes clearer.

Sometimes emotional.

Sometimes deeply rested.

And sometimes they simply say...

“I feel like me again.”

If you’re seeing this today, perhaps it’s a little reminder that you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Maybe your body is asking for a pause.

Maybe your nervous system is asking for some kindness.

Maybe your soul is asking to be heard.

And maybe...

just maybe...

this is your sign. 🤍

Most people spend years asking...

“How do I get rid of this?”

The anxiety.

The exhaustion.

The skin flare-up.

The pain.

The symptom.

But what if the better question is...

“How did I get here?”

One of the reasons I find German New Medicine (which explores how our life experiences, stresses, and emotions may influence our physical symptoms) and mind-body approaches so fascinating is that they encourage us to become curious rather than critical.

Think about it this way...

If you keep scratching a wound, it can’t heal.

The body is trying to repair itself, but if the irritation continues, the healing gets interrupted.

Life can be a bit like that too.

If we don’t know what’s creating the stress, grief, pressure, fear, or overwhelm in our lives, we can unknowingly keep “scratching the wound”.

Not because we’re doing anything wrong...

Simply because we don’t realise it’s happening.

🌸Try this:

Think of a symptom, pain, flare-up, or health challenge you experience.

Then ask yourself:

• When did this first begin?
• What was happening in my life at the time?
• What changed?
• What felt difficult, painful, or unresolved?
• What was I carrying on my own?

Don’t try to fix anything.

Just get curious.

Notice which question made you pause the longest...

That’s often where the gold is.

After working with thousands of people over the last 18 years, one thing I’ve learned is this...

The body is often far wiser than we give it credit for.

Sometimes it’s not asking for criticism.

Sometimes it’s asking for our attention.

💜 If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like your body is trying to tell you something but you’re not sure where to start...

I’m right here.

Whether that’s through EFT, Reiki, massage, Belief Coding, or simply a conversation that helps you connect the dots...

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

🙏🏽 Send me a message if you’d like some support. I’d be honoured to help.

Most women don’t come to me because they need a massage.

Or a facial.

Or Reiki.

They come because somewhere along the way they’ve become disconnected from themselves.

They’ve spent so long looking after everyone else, pushing through, being strong, carrying responsibilities, and getting on with it...

that they’ve forgotten what it feels like to simply be.

To dream.

To create.

To trust themselves.

To feel excited about life again.

Over the last 18 years, working with thousands of women, cancer patients, those living with chronic illness, anxiety, grief, burnout and stress...

I’ve noticed something.

The body cannot thrive when it’s stuck in survival mode.

It’s difficult to heal.

Difficult to hear your intuition.

Difficult to receive.

Difficult to create a life you love.

Because all your energy is going into getting through the day.

That’s why everything I do is designed to help women feel safe enough to soften.

Safe enough to breathe.

Safe enough to reconnect with the magnificent woman underneath all the noise.

Because when the body feels safe...

everything starts to change.

If your body, mind or soul has been asking for a breather lately, send me a message and let’s have a chat about how I can help ❤️

Your body doesn’t always need more stimulation…

sometimes it needs more energy.
Real energy.

Not just another coffee…
another scroll…
another thing to keep you going for a little longer.

I see so many women who are emotionally, mentally, and physically drained from constantly being “on”.

And over the years, one thing I’ve learned through my work is this…

the body responds differently when it finally feels safe, nourished, rested, connected, and supported.

Thank you to Dr. Jerry Tennant and his teachings around energy, voltage, and how the body functions best when properly supported.

I also wanted to say thank you to the original inspiration from 🤍

Maybe today your body doesn’t need more pressure…

maybe it just needs a little more peace.
