Spotlight on - Welcome & Introduction
Well-being is a field I care deeply about, particularly after bearing witness to the impact of poor well-being in my role as as a Supervisor for a national children’s helpline.
During my time at this well known charity, I supported, coached and safeguarded thousands of service users with a high level of successful interventions.
In this role I also trained, coached and supervised hundreds of volunteers/paid staff due to being responsible for the day to day running of the service along with my colleagues at that time.
After nine years in this coaching and child protection role, I re-trained as a Relaxation & Stress Control Practitioner and moved to a role within a human rights organisation. This in part was to aid recovery from burn out at that time.
Since then I’ve progressed to a 1-2-1 support role within another national helpline. In this role, amongst other things, I help individuals who have experienced recent and/or historical trauma to feel seen, heard and understood.
Last year I reflected on how I could further help my wider community to reach their true potential and overcome life limiting barriers.
I loved the person-centred counselling approach in my initial role, however while this type of intervention worked well for many of the children and young adults using the service, others seemed to be stuck, talking about the same situations, day after day, year after year, with no progression or improvement because the issues were only explored on a conscious level.
For this reason I was drawn to Hypnotherapy. I feel this along with my Stress Mastery coaching supports clients to make positive changes in their lives over a considerably short period of time.
Hypnotherapy is not just for becoming a non smoker and weight management. Whatever you are experiencing in life right now, that you feel is limiting, hypnotherapy could be for you.
Most hypnotherapy sessions are 60 minutes in length and book-able by payment in advance.
Blocks of sessions are available if you feel ready to make lasting changes.
One off sessions are available if you are looking to find out if hypnotherapy might be for you.
This is the same structure for Stress Mastery Coaching.
Most appointments are online or via the telephone. However, occasional face to face sessions are available if this is your preference for an additional charge relating to room hire.
