A solid session for Ayla and Clara this week with lots of mixed conditioning sets.

They were going between two different exercises, doing as many sets of 10 as they could in a 3 minute time frame.

We finished with some plyometric drills and core work.

Two different sports, one joint session 🫶

Skinny culture is back and its so dangerous.

In a world where women are jabbing themselves into eating disorders...

Teach her how to deadlift.

I want her to know that her body is built to get stronger, not shrink.

Strong is beautiful 😍

Oh im a bit excited today.

I love all the 'ber' months starting with September 🍁

As much as I love summer, bring on the colder crisp autumn days and cosy layers.

From a fitness perspective, this is the perfect time to lock in and re-evaluate your goals.

We have three clear months before the chaos of the festive season.

If you are serious about what you want to achieve this is a great time to create a plan to get you there.

Lets see what the third season of the year will bring.

About 6 weeks ago I started taking creatine.

Ive never used it before and didn't know much about its amazing benefits for performance enhancement.

Especially for women 40 plus 👀

The strength gains have been quite noticeable and ive felt like I can train for longer without hitting fatigue.

Im lifting heavier weights than Ive done in years and bouncing back quicker.

Would 100% recommend.

Pull-ups are getting there.

I still dont feel like my technique is there without the band so im keeping going with this and chipping away at it.

Also did 3 sets of 75kg deadlifts today for 10 reps which felt good. Previously I was working between 55kg and 60kg so this is quite an increase.

Nothing beats the feeling of getting stronger 💪

Two of the things im sneaking into Lily's meals just now to support her nutritional needs as an athlete.

1. Bone broth powder. Can be made up as a drink (like bovril) or added into soups, stews and even pasta dishes. Thickens up sauces and makes things taste extra beefy which is always a win for Lily.

2. Chia pudding mix. I add about 1/2 of the suggested serving to her overnight weetabix and she is none the wiser. This should be soaked in liquid before adding to a meal so the fibre is easier to digest. Would recommend starting with a teaspoon for kids and build up as they get used to it.

Coming into the cold and flu season im trying to add as much goodness into her meals as I can.

I also add the chia pudding to my own breakfast of greek yoghurt and blueberry bowl 🥣

Got the Bone broth from amazon and the Chia pudding mix from Holland and Barret.

Happy Friday guys 🤩

Went through an op on tuesday to remove a lump.
Quite a risk at 15! But hes through it ❤️

He's raging at this collar 😤

Aplogies to everyone who has had to deal with my wild emotions this week.
