ABOUT ME 🤍

I’m a professional skin therapist specialising in advanced cosmetic procedures, dermalogica facial treatments, permanent makeup, IPL and Laser therapies.

My approach is always personal. Every treatment is tailored to your individual skin concerns and aesthetic goals, with a focus on delivering effective, practical solutions while ensuring you feel comfortable, informed and confident throughout your treatment journey.

With over 25 years of broad, demonstrable industry experience, I am also a qualified lecturer. I completed my TQFE degree at the University of Stirling, graduating with Merit, and have taught a wide range of therapies to the highest level. My career has also given me valuable international teaching experience.

I’m passionate about education and continually keeping up to date with the latest treatments, technologies and techniques. I invest in ongoing professional development so I can continue to refine my skills and provide the highest standards of care.

My clients can be confident that I will always work to the very best of my ability — with professionalism, knowledge and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible results for you.

Rosacea-prone skin is characterised by a persistent tendency to visible redness and flushing. Over time, the dilation of these superficial blood vessels in the affected areas means the redness becomes more constant — and the small capillaries become more visible.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy is one of the most effective, non-invasive treatments for managing rosacea and spider veins.

The filtered light energy delivered by IPL is absorbed by the haemoglobin in the dilated blood vessels. The absorbed light energy converts to heat within these vessels, causing them to contract and, over time, to be reabsorbed by the body.

The result is a progressive reduction in the visible redness and the reactivity of the skin’s vascular response. 3-6 sessions are recommended for optimal results.
