A birth story can shift and grow through time. Our feelings around aspects of the story can reveal new insights about our resilience and our ability to change and transform.

Whether the birth happened recently or many years ago, the process of sitting with the story, allowing ourselves some time to bear witness to it's evolution can be such a healing and compassionate act for our whole beings.

Trusting in our innate wisdom to know how much of the story needs attention at any given time is important too.

We are holding one more Birth Stories project workshop, which is taking place on July 11th in the beautiful studio in Shepton Mallet. Here you will find a session that is beautifully held and facilitated by and .art.of.sarah.slaughter . It is up to you how much of your story you need to witness and share. The workshop is 10-1.30pm.

There is also the option to share your story with us in other ways if you wish to do so.

You can book your free space for the workshop via the link in the Bio or comments in Facebook.

The Birth Stories exhibition - 'My Birth My Voice' on the 26th and 27th September will include pieces of art and other creative contributions from those who have attended the workshops. Together with a range of other birth and post natal installations. Weaving together different meaningful threads of connection that arise from sharing birth stories....

We invite you to be part of this journey in changing the culture around birth.

As part of our Birth Stories exhibition - 'My Birth My Voice' in September, we are including a multi media installation connected to the postnatal or postpartum phase of the perinatal journey.

Often referred to as the Fourth Trimester (a term coined by pediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp), as it relates to the 12-week transitional phase after birth. During this time, the mother's whole being adapts to profound physical and emotional changes and the baby adjusts to the outside world.

We would love to hear from you with your postnatal lived experiences - so that we can collate insights and include them in our installation. You can take part by completing our survey, which is open until the end of June. The link is in our Insta Bio or Facebook comments.

Can you help by sharing the link with others too, it is open to anyone who has experience of post natal life (so that includes fathers, other non birthing parents and family members).

We encourage you to be as honest as you can about your insights. Thank you so much for your help.
