Delicate black and grey memorial pet paw-trait for my lovely client from a couple weeks ago. It’s always an honour being able to tattoo such sentimental pieces for clients 🤍

Thank you Claire for trusting me to tattoo your soul dog 🐾

Three national flowers in black and grey realism stacked around an existing mandala tattoo to fill the forearm🪻

Super happy with all the blending in this one and it’s so satisfying to see how well the chosen flowers sit around the mandala (done by another artist) 🩶

Foxglove and bluebells added to this illustrative watercolour sleeve I started last year!! 🩷🩵

I really love tattooing in this style, I find watercolor a great way to seamlessly bridge the gaps between different tattoos - especially when putting together a sleeve like this! Got another session booked to add a few wee critters around the flowers 🌺

Swipe to see poppies, 8 weeks healed, and sunflower, healed since last summer 🌻
The sunflower was one of my early apprentice tattoos, and it was the first tattoo I ever done in this style! My client was booked for more at the end of last year - but unfortunately, she fell from the back of a fire engine at work and broke both her wrists, and elbow. Her surgeon done a wonderful job of stitching the sunflower after the accident, and following a wee touch up (also 8 weeks healed) it’s looking fresh again 💛

Thanks for coming back Kat, I look forward to our next one! 🐝

Sunset tulips as part of an ongoing arm sleeve for Heather 🌅🌷

Planning to restencil the stem and leaf for the left tulip in our next session, as I’d like it to sit a bit more snug to the hydrangea. Hydrangeas also fully healed by me! 🩵 Blue bunch are finished, pink bunch will be done next session 🌸🌷

Can’t wait to make more progress on this floral sleeve, really love colourful stuff like this 🧡🥹

Double doggo portraits 🐕🐕‍🦺

Willum on the left is fully healed with no touch-ups! ❤️

Mya on the right had a wee refresh today, which is why the surrounding skin is a bit red 💜

I’ve been waiting to share an update on these because there’s a bit of a story behind them. Mya’s portrait was done back in February, but during healing my client reapplied second skin after the tattoo had started peeling. When it was removed, it pulled off the top layer of healing skin and unfortunately took quite a bit of ink with it 🩹

Thankfully, it healed with minimal scarring, and today’s touch-up just added back the contrast and sharper details. The incident was understandably stressful for my client, so I wanted to share this as a gentle reminder about the importance of aftercare!

At the end of each session, we go through aftercare and send clients home with written guidance, but accidents can still happen.

As Sabrina would say… (Please, please, please) follow your aftercare! Keep your tattoo clean and dry, and remember that a little moisturiser goes a long way 🙌🏼

The beginning of a smokey arm wrap 🩶

TW: Domestic Abuse/Scar Coverup

Today I had the honour of starting this whimsical smokey arm project for a domestic abuse survivor. My client asked for this design to cover scars left by her ex-partner - she described that life at the time felt like it was on fire, and now the flames have died and left behind a trail of smoke.

If you swipe through the photos you can see the process we took, from mapping out the scars to mapping the whole arm and then refining the details ✨ you might spot that one of the scars we covered today became quite raised, which is a completely normal effect of scar tissue being disrupted by the tattoo needles. This will settle down flat again and should be seamlessly disguised within the design. We will continue working away at this project over the coming months.

Thank you for sharing your story with me and trusting me to create a tattoo which carries the meaning of strength and resilience 🖤

Shared with full permission from my client.

Another memorial pet portrait with a paw print from last week 🤎🐾

This happy boi is Willum, a rescue dog from Romania! 🇷🇴 it’s always an honour doing these kinds of tattoos and hearing stories of your fur babies 🐶

Critters & carbs!🦋🍞

These fun wee gap fillers are from a couple weeks ago, absolutely love ALL of them. This was my first time doing a colour realism butterfly and I’m so keen to do more!!

My client loves buttered toast and asked if we could create something realistic to represent that, but with a cute face! I think it came out so freaking adorable 🥹

Can’t wait to add to the collection and fill more gaps around this leg! Thank you Grace for a great day 🧡
