Double doggo portraits 🐕🐕🦺
Willum on the left is fully healed with no touch-ups! ❤️
Mya on the right had a wee refresh today, which is why the surrounding skin is a bit red 💜
I’ve been waiting to share an update on these because there’s a bit of a story behind them. Mya’s portrait was done back in February, but during healing my client reapplied second skin after the tattoo had started peeling. When it was removed, it pulled off the top layer of healing skin and unfortunately took quite a bit of ink with it 🩹
Thankfully, it healed with minimal scarring, and today’s touch-up just added back the contrast and sharper details. The incident was understandably stressful for my client, so I wanted to share this as a gentle reminder about the importance of aftercare!
At the end of each session, we go through aftercare and send clients home with written guidance, but accidents can still happen.
As Sabrina would say… (Please, please, please) follow your aftercare! Keep your tattoo clean and dry, and remember that a little moisturiser goes a long way 🙌🏼
