We're proud to share that Prima Healthcare Group has raised £15,000 for Scoo-B-Doo Registered Charity, the Neonatal Fund supporting the special care baby unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

Over the past year, our charity committee organised nine fundraising events, from bake sales to bingo nights, raising £8,371 through the team's incredible efforts. Prima then matched colleague fundraising and topped up the total to £15,000.

The donation will go towards the purchase of a new incubator, helping to provide care and support for some of the Hospital’s smallest patients.

And we're not stopping there. Following a companywide vote, we're delighted to announce our 2026 charity partner is the Pied Piper Appeal, the leading children's charity in Gloucestershire. Watch this space for details of upcoming fundraising events.

Prima Healthcare Group is now an accredited Real Living Wage Employer.

This means every person working at Prima earns a minimum of £13.45 per hour, above the current government minimum of £12.21. This is a commitment we have made voluntarily, because we believe that fair pay is not simply a legal obligation, but a reflection of how we value our people.

The Real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate independently calculated on the actual cost of living, rather than median earnings.

Joining more than 16,000 accredited employers across the UK, we are proud to be part of a movement that has secured over £4.2 billion in pay rises for workers since 2011. In the South West alone, around 374,000 jobs still pay below this rate - we are committed to ensuring none of our colleagues are among them.

This accreditation reflects our broader commitment to equality, inclusion and responsible business practice. At Prima, our values shape not only what we make, but how we operate and the standards we hold ourselves to as an employer.

Celebrating Excellence at Gloucester Hartpury Rugby!

We were thrilled to be apart of Gloucester-Hartpury Rugby's Threepeat peat premiere, celebrating 3 consecutive Premiership Rugby champions! This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of their players, coaches, and support staff.

Their success on the field mirrors the key attributes that drive business excellence: teamwork, strategic planning, and the relentless pursuit of better. Just as in rugby, where every player’s contribution counts, in business, collaboration and a shared vision lead to outstanding results.

As we celebrate this milestone, let's also extend our best wishes to all the players and teams competing in the Rugby World Cup. May their passion and commitment inspire us all to reach new heights!

Last Friday, Team Prima Dental got involved in the Gloucester Rugby Corporate 7s Tournament and were over the moon to make it to the semi-finals!

With high energy, big wins, and plenty of team spirit, it was a fantastic day on and off the pitch. We also had the pleasure of meeting with and playing some friendly matches against other local businesses such as BiGDUG, Safran, Macron, Cooper Associates Group, DAC Power and Hazlewoods.

Big thanks to Gloucester Rugby and the Gloucester Rugby Foundation for organising the successful event.
