👋🏼 Who we are!

For those who don’t know - I’m Kat Hill, the osteopath behind Hill Osteopathy.

I pride myself on being friendly, approachable and community centred. I treat a wide range of people of all ages and around 85% of my business is word of mouth 🩷
This means I treat a lot of families, partners, friends, gym buddies, tradies etc ☺️ and I love being part of your lives.

I want people to feel relaxed when they come in, I don’t wear a clinic coat or a uniform - and maybe some people would prefer it if I did, but after all these years it just seems to work for me 😊

You’ll often find me out with my dog Nacho or at something yoga community related 😊 or of course with my lovely niece and nephews

If you’ve been nervous about coming to see an osteopath, this might be the right environment for you 🩷

If you’re wondering if osteopathy can help you, drop us a message and we’ll be happy to help 😊

☀️ June is Scoliosis awareness month 😯

Here are some interesting facts about scoliosis and possible treatment options.

Scoliosis is a lot more common than many people think and is certainly not as limiting some people would believe.

Osteopathy cannot ‘fix’ scoliosis - but it can help people feel less pain and more movement, so they can keep doing the things they love.

One of our patient testimonials who has previously had spinal surgery for severe scoliosis:

*Living with Scoliosis can be tough, but Kat helps me manage it and keep everything moving as it should. I’ve tried a few different treatments in the past but Osteopathy has proven by far the most effective and my health has noticeably improved since I began being treated by her.*

🙏🏼☺️

😮 This week marks 15 years of being a qualified Osteopath for me 🥳

Something’s you might not know about Osteopaths in the U.K:

🦴 It is a full time 4 year University degree to become an osteopath
🦴 Osteopathy students must complete 1000 hours of placement in addition to the usual uni requirements to pass.
🦴 In order for people to legally be called an Osteopath, they must be registered with the General osteopathic council (G.Os.C) and complete continuous professional development each year.

Somethings you might not know about me 😋:

🙃I was born in South Africa
🙃I danced ballet, tap, modern and jazz until I was 22
🙃I hate baked beans and Jelly 🤢

✨ Thank you to all my patients who have made my profession enjoyable, allowed me to become part of their life and their families and kept me going through the years 😘 🙏🏼
