It's our 1st Birthday 🎈

It is time to celebrate and thank all the hundreds of lovely people who have made the last year incredibly rewarding!

When opening any business, you are filled with so many emotions and after 50 years in our profession we knew this venue would be our most memorable. It is with great thanks to our local community that the year gone by has been filled with happiness and joy.

To celebrate, we are going to invest even further. Having listened and reflected on the cases we have seen over the past 12 months, we have taken the decision to buy further medical equipment that include Extended Frequency Testing (EFT) which will identify very early stages of hearing loss after so many presented early with normal audiograms yet poor speech-in-noise scores.
We will also be adding Real-Ear-Measurement (REM) to The Studio which will allow expert programming and fine tuning to both new and existing hearing instruments.

But that's not all, we also have invested in a Tympanometer which measures middle ear pressure and Ear Drum flexibility. This is from many patients presenting with pressure build up in the ears and usually requires referral to ENT.

To top this all off, we are extending the "Free" service offered in September before we embarked on our annual family holiday.

Free Hearing test and Auditory Health Check

The weather is cooling down and we are getting ready for our holidays in September.

We wanted to sign off the summer months by offering a free hearing test and ear health screening appointment for those who have perhaps been putting it off, were waiting for an offer or just curious to find out how their hearing is doing.

We'd also like to give a little reminder that many people who have hearing loss are not even aware of it, after all the brain is only aware of what you CAN hear and not what you haven't heard!

Did you know, there are 5 main reasons why we get tinnitus!

Here at The Studio, we take a very special interest in why people are affected by tinnitus. Many are told they simply have to live with the condition, but we look to manage the situation.

From a in-depth look into how your tinnitus is impacting you, we build personalised care plans to help you understand and deal with the issue.

A lovely review of the sports day 😊🏆

Great fun event👏

The Goostrey Sports Day

What a day down at the Goostrey Playing Fields participating in the Annual Sports Day Event.
We sent a team into battle "The Hear We Goes" against others from the community and enjoyed every moment.
From battling it out at pickle ball with the Dads and Lads team to volleyball against the Goostrey football team.
We laughed and celebrated together as a group and as a local community.
We had to run, hop and spin in some events and watching the participants wobble with dizzy heads reminded us how important our ears are.
Thanks to everyone who took time to welcome us, adjudicate the events and pull together a fantastic day from the trustees to the volunteers.

If we can help anyone in the community with their hearing or ear health, we are always grateful to help!
