STAFF TRAINING - 7TH MAY 2026

We will be closed for Health Board staff training at 1.30pm on Thursday the 7th May 2026 and will reopen as normal on Friday 8th May at 8.00am (7.30am online).

If you need urgent care that cannot wait until the surgery is open then please ring 01656 523650.
Alternatively you can also phone 111 if you need health information and advice.
Community Pharmacies are also open and offer access to the Common Ailment Service offering free advice and medication if required for common ailments such as coughs, headaches, sore throat, diarrhoea etc. Thank you.

Patient Notice:
We will have reduced capacity for appointments on Tuesday 5th, Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th and Friday 8th May.
This is due to the migration of our new clinical system.
Remember the pharmacy can help with sore throats, coughs, colds, thrush and minor issues.

Bank Holiday Closure:

We are closed on Monday 4th May 2026 and reopen as normal on Tuesday 5th May 2026

New IT System

We are changing our clinical computer system and there maybe some disruption to service between 23rd April - 30th April 2026.

Closures: We will be closed on Thursday 23rd April from 12pm, however you can access us for medical emergencies ONLY via the usual surgery number. We reopen as normal on the 24th April.

Appointments: we have reduced our appointments slightly to help us transition to the new system. Staff will be learning on the job - please be patient whilst we navigate a new system and help you

New patient registrations: We will not be able to process any new registrations from 14th April - 30th April.

NHS App - your app will not be accessible from the 22nd April - 30th April

Medication: We will be processing prescriptions as normal, however please give us 48 hours EXTRA time to do this

We thank you for your patience during this time, this is a new internal system and it will not affect the way you deal with the surgery after the 30th April 2026

Patient Notice: We are experiencing IT issues and we have limited access to medical documents within patients records. The service desk is working on this to rectify as soon as possible.
