💃SUPPORT DURING MENOPAUSE 💃
🔬FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE APPROACH 🔬

There are many estrogen🩸 and progesterone🩸 receptors in the brain, especially in the hypothalamus. 🧠The hypothalamus is a small but incredibly powerful structure located deep in the center of your brain. 🧠 It regulates vital functions like temperature, hunger, sleep, and hormone release.

Providing support to the hypothalamus is very helpful in cases of emotional disturbances during menopause.🩸

Hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA axis) dysregulation (often colloquially, though imprecisely, called "adrenal fatigue" 🫨❌) is a situation in which the communication system between the brain and the adrenal glands stops working properly.

Symptoms of HPA axis dysregulation 🧠:

❌Low stress resistance.
❌Chronic fatigue that sleep does not cure.
❌Frequent infections.
❌Cravings for salty or sweet snacks (the body is desperately looking for energy).
❌Problems with concentration and memory (cortisol damages the hippocampus).

The Importance of the Adrenal Glands During Menopause ‼️

🔆The adrenal glands are a backup system for hormone production during menopause. 🔆
