What a weekend it has been !!

Massive thank you to Shropshire tattoo show for having me and a massive thank you to Darrock for fu***ng smashing this weekend mate, had a great time and you sat like a rock ! 💪

Didn’t manage to walk away with anything but on to the next one😂🤷‍♂️

Really enjoyed doing this tat and I’m over the moon with the outcome !!

**WE ARE MOVING**
Now that the cat is officially out of the bag, we can confirm that we’ll be relocating in October this year! 👀

It’s been a brilliant 9 years in our current studio. Lots of ups, downs, blood, sweat and tears went into making it happen.

When we first opened, we put the glass wall in between the bar and studio as a feature for both sides, and I’m still pretty sure it’s the only tattoo studio of its kind anywhere

I think a few people will agree we had some of the best times there at weekends! We really were sad to see the bar go, but in the end I had a choice… stop tattooing or sell the bar.

Obviously, the bar had to go

And so it did, to Birty, who changed the name to Mellows and will now be extending into our current studio once we leave

Anyway… we’re not moving too far. Just next door but one! Haha.

We’re taking on the end unit of our building, formerly The Vault, which was almost lost for good after an arson attack a couple of years ago.

We’re currently in the middle of a full refit and we’ll be doing our best to bring the unit back to its former glory, while adding a few modern twists of our own.

The fire damage wasn’t the only problem though…

Over the years some of the original cornices and corbels have been chopped into to accommodate things like disco balls attached to pallet wood, and original solid wood panelled walls were ripped out to make way for a pallet-covered bar.

I find it mental because, with those original features intact, they had the chance to make a much smarter/classier bar for probably less money!

Anyway, rant over.

We’re currently:

Fixing and finishing all the joinery work

First-fix electrics ready for the professional new lighting being installed over the next few weeks

Adding 2 more workstations ready for expansion and regular guest artists from around the uk and further get in touch if interest! !

Having full new traditional/vintage-style ply signage made for above the original exterior cornice

A full professional paint job, inside and out

New herringbone flooring throughout

New state-of-the-art tattoo furniture

And it’s about time we had a proper kitchen for our clients to use! Coffee machine, brews, cans and snacks will all be included with every booking.

There’s still plenty to do, but we can’t wait to get it finished and welcome you all through the doors. No more eye sore with the burnt out vault on the towngate, we have you covered 👌🏼

We can’t wait to welcome you all to new studio

Most of our clients come from out of town, so I’m really hoping we can fix this and bring in more local clients through our doors 🙂
