Today is all about self love and setting boundaries.
And my question is:
Do you Love yourself enough to set boundaries?
We often think about boundaries in relationships or in business.
Let's think now about the boundaries you set around your own wellbeing.
The boundaries that say:
I’m not going to speak to myself like that anymore.
I’m not going to let someone else’s comments about my body decide how I feel about myself.
I’m not going to keep saying yes to everyone else while leaving myself at the bottom of the list.
I’m not going to keep abandoning what matters to me because someone else wants something different.
Perhaps most importantly…I’m not going to use food, weight or a number on the scales as evidence of my worth.
Boundaries around weight loss don’t have to mean restriction - They can be a sign to yourself of self-respect and self-love.
Knowing what supports you.
Knowing what pulls you away from yourself.
Knowing when enough is enough.
Knowing when to say no.
And loving yourself enough to mean it.
Because sometimes the discomfort isn’t in setting the boundaries.
It’s in finally noticing how long you’ve been abandoning them.
Not Another Diet isn’t just about changing what you eat.
It’s about changing the relationship you have with you.
So perhaps the question isn’t:
What do I need to cut out?
Perhaps it’s:
Where do I need to stop abandoning myself?
What boundary would loving yourself ask you to set today?
