Three EHCP refusals. Three and a half years. Then, finally, a yes.
When this family asked me to help, we brought the evidence together, prepared the appeal and challenged the reasons for refusal.
After reviewing the evidence, the head of SEND apologised and agreed to issue an EHCP.
I’m still alongside the family reviewing the draft, clarifying school support and planning the next steps.
