Infant crying is normal 💙💜

All newborns cry and get fussy sometimes. It's normal for a baby to cry for 2–3 hours a day for the first 6 weeks. During the first 3 months of life, they cry more than at any other time. New parents often are low on sleep and getting used to life with their little one.

💜 Remember always be kind to yourself, take rest when you can & stay hydrated 💙

🔸Don't try to reason (right away). ...
🔸Avoid the word “no” when they are amidst a meltdown.
🔸Use calming visual input, such as something relaxing on the television.
🔸Use a distraction. ...
🔸Silence. ...
🔸 turn the volume down, try validating their feelings but not their actions. ...
🔸Get down to their level.

Tiny toes, big benefits 👣💛
Massaging your baby’s feet can help them feel calm, relaxed and comforted. It’s a lovely way to bond with your little one, support better sleep, encourage circulation and soothe them when they’re unsettled. Sometimes the smallest touch can bring the biggest comfort.
