🦷🥤 Safe Drinks for Little Teeth!💙

Choosing the right drinks from an early age can help protect children’s teeth and establish healthy habits that last a lifetime. 🌟

💧 Water is the best choice throughout the day, with milk a great option alongside meals.

🍊 Fruit juice may provide nutritional benefits, but when fruit is juiced, natural sugars and acids can affect teeth. If given, keep it to mealtimes and dilute 1 part juice to 10 parts water.

🚫🥤 Fizzy drinks are not recommended for children under 5 as the acids can damage tooth enamel and sugars or sweeteners can encourage a preference for sweet tastes.

🧃 Even no-added-sugar juices can be acidic and harmful to teeth, so dilute them as much as possible and remember that water and milk are preferable. ☕ Tea and coffee should not be given to young children as they can affect iron absorption, sleep, appetite and nutrition.

💙 Let’s establish good habits from the start and protect those little smiles!
