My latest journal entry is a juicy one.
It fully captures the exact reason that I adore antenatal education 🥰
Jamie came to me when she was pregnant with her second baby because she wanted this birth to be different from her first one... she didn't want to feel the same levels of anxiety or fear that she felt last time and *spoiler alert* she absolutely smashed this birth!!

World Bee Day feels like the perfect excuse to share one of my favourite photos of tiny Paisley 🐝

Long before The Mama Spring had a name, before the classes, the birth work, the journal, the events, the community… there was her.

The baby who made me a mum, the baby who changed everything.

I didn’t know it then, but becoming her mum was the beginning of so much more than motherhood. It was the beginning of me slowly finding my way back to myself, questioning what I wanted life to look like and eventually building something that now holds other mums through their own beginnings too.

So today, here’s my little bee.

A tiny reminder that the smallest people can change the entire direction of your life.

I hear this most weeks in class... “They just won’t sleep.”

It’s so common, yet somehow so many of us feel like we’re the only one going through it.

If your baby will only nap on you, wake the second you put them down, or seem to need constant closeness, you are not alone.

Birth isn’t about getting a gold star for staying calm, it’s about understanding what’s happening, knowing your options and feeling confident in yourself no matter how birth unfolds.

🩷 No big groups, no awkward introductions...

Just small, calm baby classes where you can feed your baby, have a chat, drink a hot coffee and leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in.

I keep my sessions small (maximum 8 babies) because I want you to actually feel seen here too.
