For me, antenatal classes just didn't cut it - I couldn't take any more information being thrown at me.
What I actually needed was support and understanding, I needed someone to connect all of the dots and most importantly... I needed to know how my body worked AND what I could do to help.

Baby massage isn't somewhere you need to arrive with a fed, rested or perfectly content baby.
Feed them, cuddle them, change them, walk around if you need to... the massage can wait!

If you know me, you'll know that I LOVE a birth story, but a birth story where I know I've made a difference... that just hits differently!!

I hear this so many times... I’ll just go with the flow…”

And I understand why people say it, but can we just stop there and think for a moment... what does that actually mean?

Because I think a lot of people say it when they’re scared of the unknown and don’t actually want to face birth yet.

But what if “going with the flow” meant learning what your options are, thinking through what you might do in different situations, knowing your rights and having a bank of tools to support you during labour?

Not planning your “dream birth” or trying to control exactly what happens, but feeling prepared to go with whatever happens and make informed decisions in the moment.

You can absolutely go with the flow... just make sure it’s your flow 🩷
