Our bodies let us know when there is an issue,but it’s whether you listen to it.As women I know we tend to put niggles to one side and look after everyone else but what happens when you don’t listen and keep ignoring all the signs .Thats usually when life throws us a bit of a curve ball and makes us stop in our tracks .
Being consistent in looking after your body is so beneficial in the long term.So when I ask what would your body say ,I know mine would say “let’s get some motivation and get back on track with your diet and exercise “!

Creating a safe space .
More often than not we forget that the environment we are in can have an impact on our stress levels .
Creating a safe space to relax in at home will help to relieve stress .
Using materials and fabrics you like the feel of the ones that make you feel warm and fuzzy to bring you comfort like a warm hug .
Lighting be it candles ,salt lamps ,soft lighting can enhance your mood and help you to relax .
Colours have a big impact too,colours can be used to enhance mood,energy and well being .Cool colours,greens and blues often have a relaxing effect on the body .
Make use of a diffuser to create a relaxing aroma .Aromatherapy is an anyway to relieve stress levels.Aromatic compounds react with our scent receptors to stimulate our limbic system (the brains emotional response system)to help relieve stress .
Music can be used to help create your safe environment.Using music to help aid relaxation whatever music helps you,we all have different tastes in music and different ways in which we have an emotional response to it .
Bringing some nature inside ,using plants and flowers can help you be in the present moment .
Home should feel like a safe space but I know sometimes for some it’s not .Thats why I am here creating a safe space for you so that you can find Your Inner Peace and feel safe and relaxed .

I did this video a while back and I couldn’t decide whether to post it or not ,but I’ve just seen a reel that shared and it’s definitely valid .It’s
scary and can be intimidating when someone shows up expecting other things .Luckily I only have new male clients if my husband is home .As a therapist you need to make sure you are safe .
I’m so glad that it’s a small minority and my job brings me so much joy x
