We're incredibly proud of Vicky, our Moving and Handling and Ergonomics Lead, for helping drive national improvements in moving and handling practice across health and social care 👏

Working alongside professionals from across the UK, Vicky has helped develop new guidance focused on improving dignity, safety and access to care for patients travelling with slings in wheelchairs.

This important work has already been recognised nationally through the National Back Exchange and is now being considered and adopted by services, including ambulance trusts across the UK.

A fantastic example of collaboration, innovation and patient-centred care making a real difference beyond our organisation 💙

Spreading the word! 💬

Great to see opportunities like this helping local people bring ideas to life across Grimsby and North East Lincolnshire 👏

Whether you’ve got a project in mind, want to support community-led ideas, or fancy becoming a Decision Maker, now’s the time to get involved. 💡

Up to £10,000 in funding available through the Growing Together Fund - don’t miss out! 🙌

Have you heard?

If you haven’t, where have you been? 😄

The Growing Together Fund is open, but not for much longer.

People who live or work in Grimsby can apply for grants of up to £10,000 through the Give it a Go fund to test, start or spark something new in the town.

And it is not just about applying for funding.

Local people can also apply to become Decision Makers and help recommend which ideas receive support.

So whether you have an idea, know someone with an idea, or want to help shape what gets funded locally, this is your reminder to take a look.

Applications close on Friday 5 June.
