WILL I BRUISE???

I always do my very best to minimise the risk of bruising, however there are a LOT of blood vessels beneath the skin, so bruising is a potential risk with any injectable treatment.

If you’re planning to book a treatment, it’s always worth scheduling your appointment at least 2 weeks before any special occasion or event. This allows plenty of time for any bruising or swelling to settle and fade.

Black-market anti-wrinkle brands are still circulating through unlicensed suppliers and illegal importers. Brands such as Botulax, Re N Tox, Innotox and Toxpia may appear “legitimate” online, but none of them are licensed by the MHRA and they are illegal to use in the UK.

This means:

✖ No regulation
✖ No safety oversight
✖ No guarantee of ingredients
✖ No legal protection if something goes wrong

Always feel comfortable asking your practitioner where they source their products. A reputable practitioner should have no issue showing that their medications are obtained through licensed, verified, MHRA-compliant suppliers.
