It was wonderful being asked by the Azeemia Foundation to talk and perform at their Adam Day 2026 event at the Usmania Banquet Hall in Miles Platting, Manchester, on Monday evening.

Adam Day takes place every year on 10th August and it is organised by the Azeemia Foundation. This year’s event was the 24th Adam Day celebration.

The purpose of Adam Day is in celebrating peace and harmony through unity in diversity. Approximately 200 people, including local mayors and other politicians were in attendance.

This year’s theme was ‘sound’ so I delivered a short talk and performed some shamanic drumming for 15 minutes to help the guests and dignitaries of all faiths and none to connect to the rhythm of the heart. ❤️💚

On Friday this week, my first non-singing bowl meditation track, 'Moon Echoes in Blue', releases on the streaming and download services. I performed this track solo on my Thomann 70cm wind gong, without any additional layers or sounds. 🎵 🎵 🎵

The title refers to the Moon mallet used to play the gong, along with a pair of gong gadgets ('Echoes'), both handmade by Sam at Epic Mallets. You can see the 'Echoes' on the artwork, which bounce off the surface of the gong as it is played. 🎵 🎵 🎵

My first non-singing bowl release in over 2 years will be ‘Moon Echoes in Blue’, played entirely on my Thomann 70cm wind gong.

The title refers to the Moon mallet and the pair of blue Echoes (gong gadgets), handmade by Epic Mallets with which I play the wind gong in the recording. I also used some of the Epic Mallets flumies (friction mallets) in the track too. It is amazing how many sounds can be produced on one gong with a variety of quality mallets and gadgets. The blue Echoes bounce gently off the surface of the gong as it is struck, introducing layers of sound much higher than the fundamental rumble associated with wind gongs.

I recently incorporated my MEINL Sonic Energy 10" rain disk into my sound bath setup and numerous clients have already commented afterwards how much they love the gentle watery sounds that it produces.

I'll be playing my rain disk again tonight, as well as my Himalayan singing bowls at Sound Bath for Deep Relaxation at Thrive Wellbeing Hub, Hampden Road, Sale, M33 7UB.
