People underestimate how much weight they need to lose to get lean.

This is Ben’s 17/18 Week Fat Loss Phase check in from today with a massive 35lbs lost.

Would you have said to the guy on picture 1 “you have 2 and a half Stone to get off before we see your abs”?

This phase for Ben has been an absolute pleasure and it’s taken us to pull his calories down to a mere 1800 per day.

But do you know what? If that’s what it takes, that’s what it takes.

Next step for Ben is the Reverse Diet where we will push his calories as far up as we can without any detriment to his physique.

I’m confident on getting somewhere near 3,500.

It also allows our guys to be able to be flexible, eat on the go and not live like nuns.

This is the main thing that people (and coaches) get wrong when it comes to Long Term Fat Loss

I literally see it every single day

People eat absolutely no calories all year, never increasing them, always trying to lose weight and never having any other focus

I’m gonna say this now and I believe it to be absolute fact….

This is exactly why people yo-yo, exactly why people don’t stay in shape all year, exactly why people have to aggressively diet for every holiday a couple of months before, exactly why people time and time again fail on losing fat.

If your either doing this off your own will or been told by a coach to do this then you need to seriously have a think.

This is not something that me and Dan have just magically discovered, it’s a system we’v been using for years and years.

And that’s because we know what the f**k we are doing.

There is a reason that all our long term clients stay in shape all year.

There’s a reason that we get the results we do week in week out.

There’s a reason that none of our clients spend long on low calories.

“Is 1,000 Calories a day too low for a woman?”

As a long term amount in most cases yes…

But there are exceptions.

Many people overeat calories based on their lifestyle and follow what we are “Told” to be correct.

But after working with 1000’s of clients over the last 15 years I have found that this is very much person dependant.

What I would say is that if you are continually eating calories this low or even slightly higher than this then you desperately need to look at REVERSE DIETING.

You are causing yourself unnecessary pain every time you are trying to “get in shape”.
