🎨 camouflage/cover-up ✨

Tattoo blowouts can happen for a few reasons:
• The needle goes too deep beneath the dermis, allowing the ink to spread into the fatty tissue underneath.
• Certain areas of the body with thinner or softer skin are more prone to blowouts.
• Technique and skin movement during tattooing can also contribute.

To camouflage and soften these areas, we added a beautiful watercolour-style background and I absolutely love the pop of colour it brought to the piece ✨

I’m so pleased with how this transformation turned out. Everything now looks much neater, softer, and more cohesive.

Started adding colour to this sleeve I started as an apprentice! ❤️

This lady came to me when I first started to take on larger projects … through life tattoos can take a back seat in the priority list however now she’s ready to get started again and found me again to continue work!

Projects like this from so long ago are always an amazing teachable experience there’s a lot I would do differently with this sleeve had I been starting it now and im at a stage that allows me to look at my work and see the growth and potential,we talked about me fixing a few parts and reworking some of the older lines to give it a more upto date look
I’m so pleased I got some colour and added some extra bits on this session to really jazz it up ,
