A Little Life Update
I have been somewhat quiet recently. As with many of us, work can take over and consume so much of our time!
I started a new job back in November 2025. It is full-on and very busy and, to be honest, it did take over my life for a while. I would come home mentally exhausted, often falling asleep before dinner! Thankfully, I feel that I am settling in well now and gradually regaining some control over my life.
I have just returned from the most amazing holiday with my family. Tenerife is stunning, and the landscape is my idea of perfection. It's full of rocks!
The flora is every bit as beautiful as the fauna, and I have come home feeling relaxed, grounded, rejuvenated, and blessed.
Work now continues, but it is these holidays that make all the hard work worthwhile. Unfortunately, the bills continue too, and working remains a necessity that cannot be compromised. However, I am determined to maintain a healthy work-life balance, looking after both my body and mind and making the time I need for myself to achieve this.
This summer has been incredibly hot, and it has affected my Reiki practice. My treatment room has simply been too warm to be comfortable. Unfortunately, I have had to cancel appointments. My body temperature rises when I channel Reiki energy, and I do not think I would survive a full session in the current heat! More importantly, I want my clients to be comfortable and able to enjoy the best possible experience during their treatment.
I also have some exciting plans for the autumn, including training in Reiki Drumming, which will be an additional therapy available alongside Reiki and Crystal Healing.
What is Reiki Drumming?
Reiki Drumming is a healing technique that combines Reiki energy with shamanic drumming. The vibrations and rhythm of the drum help carry Reiki energy more deeply into the client's energetic field. It works on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, promoting relaxation, tension release, and stress reduction while supporting the body's natural healing abilities.
Many people find Reiki Drumming to be a deeply grounding and restorative experience, helping them reconnect with themselves and their inner sense of wellbeing.
I will announce when I have completed my training and am qualified to offer Reiki Drumming as part of my treatment menu. Until then, I continue to offer Reiki and Crystal Healing sessions. Treatments are approx 60 minutes and cost £40.00.
