HOW DID THAT COME ROUND SO QUICKLY? 🔔

It seemed ages away when we booked it in, and now suddenly it’s this Sunday. September seems to have snuck up on us a bit too quickly. 😊

So, if you fancy a little break from everything, there are still a few spaces for our Gong Magic Relaxation session on Sunday afternoon. Come along, get comfy, switch off for an hour and let the gongs do their thing.

🍂 SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO...

Looking back, when I first posted about moving our next Gong Relaxation to September, it seemed ages away.

Funny really... a few bookings have started coming in now and suddenly it’s beginning to feel quite close. 💛

September always feels like a bit of a change of gear, doesn’t it?

After all the holidays, days out, family, children, grandchildren and everything else that seems to get squeezed into summer, maybe it feels nice to have one little thing in the diary that’s just for you... before we all get back into the swing of things again.

I’m a great one for having something to look forward to. Even the little things. ✨

So... Sunday 6th September at 4pm.

🍂 Maybe there's still time this year...

I know... it's not even August yet and I'm already talking about September! 😊

But August has a rhythm all of its own, doesn't it?

School holidays, holidays, family, grandchildren, days out, people covering for colleagues... our usual routines seem to get put to one side while we enjoy the sunny rhythm of summer. ☀️

So I've decided to move our next Gong Magic Relaxation to Sunday 6th September.

It somehow just feels right. 🤍

There's just something about September, isn't there?

We'll have a brand new monthly theme, a new crystal, a new reflection card... and, of course, an hour to lie down, get comfy and let the sound wash over you. ✨

💛 Maybe September is just a little reminder...

💜 A little note...

I don't usually run a Gong Magic session in August because lots of people are away on holiday.

This year, because it's right at the beginning of the month, I thought I'd see if there was enough interest before I skip to September.

So if you're thinking, "Ooh, I'd quite like to come to this one," could you let me know sooner rather than later? 😊

If there aren't enough people around, I'll leave August out and we'll be back in September.

💜 Maybe it isn't another holiday we need... ☀️✨

I've been thinking about this over the last few weeks...

We've been lucky enough to have a few lovely breaks away. 🥰

And don't get me wrong... they've been wonderful. But I still found myself wondering why I didn't feel quite as rested as I expected. 🤔💜

Maybe you'll recognise that feeling too.

Whether you've got a holiday coming up... ✈️🌊
..or you've already had one and everyday life has quietly crept back in.

That's probably one of the reasons I love these Gong Relaxation afternoons so much. 💜🎶

The funny thing is... I usually leave feeling relaxed too... and I'm the one making all the noise! 😂🥰

I think that's the magic of it.

You don't have to try to relax.
You don't have to clear your mind.
You don't have to "do" anything.

You just get cosy, lie back... and let the sound waves work their magic. ✨💜

☀️ This weather has finally solved a little mystery... 😅🥵

For weeks, I’ve been saying I just haven’t been feeling as rested 😴

Naturally, I blamed all the usual suspects… post-menopause hormones, cortisol, waking in the night… you name it 🤷‍♀️💭

To be fair, I have been trying! I’ve cut back on bedtime screen time 📵, gone back to reading 📖, treated myself to lovely cool bedding 🛏️✨ and even tried those sleep patches (science or psychology… who knows! 😅💜)

Then yesterday hit 31°C… 🌡️🔥

…and suddenly it hit me…

"My bedroom is just too blooming hot!" 😂

Honestly, why it took me this long to buy a fan, I’ve no idea 🤦‍♀️ Living in North Yorkshire, you don’t exactly expect to need one very often! 🌬️

They arrived today, so I’m weirdly excited about going to bed tonight 🤣🛌

It’s funny, isn’t it… how we can spend ages looking in one direction, and then something completely obvious just pops into view 💡

Anyway… here’s hoping for a cooler, better night’s sleep tonight 💜✨
